The right way to apply make up?

I've been watching shows that introduce different kinds of make-up that are good and they often try it on the celebrity guests.

However,I have no experience in putting make up and I often do not understand what they mean. For eg,if I put like moisturizer on before foundation, what kind of foundation should I use?

I once put on foundation and blahblahblah for a photo needed for my passport but the foundation totally made me looked like catwoman with a lighter skin shade around my eyes and nose but the rest of my face darker.

Also,I wear spectacles, will the spectacles cause the foundation to be uneven? The right way to apply make up?
you don't always need to copy what they say on the guest shows.put the moisturizer on before the foundation and then apply the foundation after the moisturizer dries a little. don't use foundation unless you have to ex. if you have an uneven skin tone that day or something you need to cover up. try on the foundation on your hands. in many stores now they have samples of makeup you can try on. rub it on your hands and then if it matches the skin and you like the feel and texture of it buy it. dab on small amounts at a time and not all over your face. after you can dust on some powder evenly.

eyeliner: draw a thin line from the outer corner of the eye to the inside. if you want a more natural look then wear brown eyeliner and black eyeliner for a dramatic look. less is more. if you want your eyes to pop out then close your eyes and drag the eyeliner from the outside it on your upper lid. brush on some poweder/eyeshadow so it will stay on and not smear.

mascara: then put on mascara. i usually put on 2 coats and use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes. put mascara on always before you curl because if you curl your eyelashes before the mascara it won't stay as curly and also your eyelashes tend to fall out quicker. after that i apply one more coat of mascara.

lipstick/ligloss: i apply chapstick and then put on a tinted pink lipstick and a clear shade of gloss. the nyc company has really good lipgloss for like 1-2 bucks

eyeshadow: you don't have to wear eyeshadow everyday but i wear it for special occasions. use darker tones if your going out at night or to a party like a plum color and lighter , netural tones for a natural shade like light brown. blend it in. also you can put a dot of white eyeshadow in the middle of your eybrow to make your eyes look bigger

no spectacles won't cause the foundation to be uneven. try getting frames to make your eyes/face the best. i used to have circle frames and now i have contacts and these really great square frames that bring out my face more so talk to your doctor if you want new frames.

also try bobbibrown.com for some good tips

hope this helps=]The right way to apply make up?
after trying different lotions, the two i like most are Aveeno and Nivea. both are fragrance free and really work. make sure the foundation you're using is oil-free and water based so it doesn't clog your pores. and if you wanna make sure that the color is going to be the right one, go to a cosmetics store like sephora and get a professional to match your skin tone and tell you exactly which foundation you should get. watch carefully how they apply the makeup on your face and you should try to imitate that when you do it yourself.

good luck!
Hi with the foundation just put on normal foundation but wait til the moisturiser has dried. Make sure it is the same skintone as your skin at least near it anyway.

I wear glasses as well but no the foundation isn't uneven because it is hardly noticeable enough to notice that.
