http://hindimovie.buyallgifts.com/actres鈥?/a>

she's an actress from bollywood

how do i apply my eye makeup like hers? i eally like how she's done he eyes

please help if u know o have a good idea or any tips on eye make upHow do i apply make up like her? (picture of celebrity included)?
Her eye makeup looks very natural and not so made up looking.

It looks like she has a light eyeshadow on the lids, up to the brow bone. When you put the eye shadow on, use a brush..start at the lashes and sweep upward. If you have an angled brush, sweep it across your eye, at the brow..starting at the inner corner of your eye by your nose then outward. It will make like an arch with the shadow.

On top of that...just below your eyebrow...use a lighter shade to highlight. Also use that same light color and dab in the corner of your eye by your nose and on the outer corner of your eye where the top lid meets the bottom lid.

Then what I do is take the regular eyeshadow brush, blow it to get the excess shadow off of it and lightly sweep it across my entire eyelid up to my eyebrow. This blends the colors together for a more natural look.

The eyeliner: It is very important to put it as close to your lashes as humanly possible for a natural look and keep it a very thin line. This takes some practice but eventually you will get the hang up it and your eyeliner will look soft and natural....not hard and slutty.

Then you apply your mascara. Start at the base of your lashes and swoop out %26amp; up to the ends of your lashes. Try to get it in one swoop or your mascara can get thick and clumpy looking. For the bottom lashes be careful not to get it all over your face. You don't need mascara caked on. Because I have very thin eyelashes, I dab the tip of my mascara brush onto a papertowel or tissue and then use the tip/end of the brush to apply on my bottom lashes. If I try to do the sweeping motion on my lower lashes, it clumps, is too thick and looks like I have black eyes (because my bottom eyelashes are almost non existant.

The whole thing with this model's eye make up is looking soft and natural. Make up isn't a simple thing to learn to put on properly for a lot of girls. I know grown women who can't apply it properly. There is nothing worse than too much make up, incorrectly applied....it would be better to wear none at all. Practice makes perfect and remember for that look....less is more.

Good Luck...%26amp; I hope this helps.

Don't pump the mascara brush in and out of the container. That puts air into it and dries your mascara out quickly. How do i apply make up like her? (picture of celebrity included)?
That girl is a huge star in India (Bollywood). She was actually voted as the most beautiful woman in the world. Anyways; she actually isn't wearing much eyemake up. Its natural. Her eyelashes are really that dark and thick and long; light eyes and dark brows and eyelashes. Seriously. Looks like she put some peachy (blush colored) eyeshadow on her lids, from her lashline to her brows and mascara. It doesnt' even look like she's wearing eyeliner. I'd say then; do this: get some blush and put it on your lids. Just use the same blush brush you use for your cheeks, then some really thickening mascara (L'Oreal Voluminous is REALLY good). But note; this woman also has amazing eyebrows. So, go to a professional eyebrow specialist. This girl has thick, arched eyebrows; can fill in with shadow; but be careful or you'll look like Groucho Marx. Good luck. I'm telling ya; this chick is naturally gorgeous. This look will be hard to imidate, if you don't have her attributes. Good luck.
first applying make up like hers is not difficult but do you have the same eyes like her or beauty like her. she herself without makeup as i imagine is too beautiful.
no need
She has a deep mauve shadow black liquid eyeliner and fake eyelashes on top also she has a lip plumper on as well you have to get the colors and the stuff and just practice...its the cat eye effect you will have to perfect
Um its not that hard actually um she uses a bottom coat of light gray and the on the top she uses a natural shade of light brown she uses black eyliner but she doesn't apply it thick like the people now of days the applies it like your suppose to. um after she sticks her eye shadow on she puts her eyliner on and remember always last you wanna stick you mascara on
She has a LOT of black eyeliner on top, but she has it applied inside the upper lash line. This is a great look, it makes the lashes look darker and opens the eyes. Try a pencil eyeliner instead of liquid, liquid is hard to work with. She also has fake eyelashes on top with lots of black mascara. Curl those lashes before applying the mascara! Grey liner on the bottom (try a grey shadow instead, easier to work with). You can also darken the crease of the eye with the same grey shadow. Don't get too crazy with shadow, let the lashes be the focal point.

Also, her brows are perfect- make sure yours are groomed and filled in with pencil if need be. She has also highlighted the brow bone with a light colored shadow.

How should you apply make-up properly?

should you use a sponge or your fingers? How should you apply make-up properly?
wash your face first.then moisturize properly then conceal then foundation then finishing powder. How should you apply make-up properly?
to make your face seem flawless with powder you'd used your finger or a fine brush to spread concealer or liquid founddation over your face then get a large brush and brush powder over. it's the best way.

make up like eye shadow i suggest u should use a brush.
always use a sponge

apply dots to ur cheak bones on both side and your chin the spread outwards with your sponge :)
Brush.

it makes it looked more airbrushed.
neither, use mineral make up with a brush, you want to look natural and not pasted in paint
whatever makes it look even :)

http://www.youtube.com/user/michellephan鈥?/a>

she might be able to help, i like her vids. she tends to explain what she's using
First wash your face. Then moisturize. Allow to dry. Dot foundation on forehead, both cheeks, chin and tip of nose. Use your fingers to smear it in. Your fingers warm the foundation, allowing it to spread and making a more natural look. I usually let it dry then use base powder, blush, and so on...
A Good Foundation Brush is Key!

www.eyeslipsface.co.uk have a good one for 拢1.50 or try thier Powder Brush for 拢3.50 and ';stipple'; on your foundation for a flawless look. Check youtube tutorials on stippling foundation :)

Apply make up to unsymmetrical nose?

How would you apply make up to make uneven nostrils or sides of the nose look the same on both sides? One side appears slightly higher up and is thicker than the other side. The make up would need to be for professional photographer, and cameras see everything unfortunately. I would appreciate any help from make up artists or anyone who has a similar problem. Thanks =)Apply make up to unsymmetrical nose?
When they take the pictures, they will probably have you hold your head at an angle to disguise it, however contour makeup applied correctly can help. A light powder put along the bridge of your nose will highlight the ';center'; and you can put a shade slightly darker than your skin tone on the side that you want to appear smaller.Apply make up to unsymmetrical nose?
first of all, u shouldnt need to hide your flaws! nobodies perfect but bronzer works good. apply it to cheek bones %26amp; temples of your forehead, then down your nose, so that it can look even with your face.
embrace the uniqueness of u. stand up and take that picture being you as proud and beautiful with your nose. its noone else's
try using a darker shade of makeup on the side that you want to make appear smaller - just a shade or two darker than the rest of your foundation. It should make that side appear smaller.

What brand's blush i s good for dry skin ? Any good site teach how to apply make up including glow?

First, most blushes are the same. They won't dry or moisturize your skin. Normally I watch tv shows on how to apply makeup. Paula Dorf blush in candy apple is amazing. It looks good on anyone. Mac blush in fever is also a favorite.
Bloom's sheer colour cream is pretty awesome because it isn't a powder consistency and therefore won't dry up your face further. Its also very versatile. Perhaps try a cheek stain instead of blush? I find adding a bit of lip gloss to cheeks (as wierd as it sounds) adds a great glow. Just avoid using powdery products.
DONT USE CLINIQUE

How do I apply my make up to make is look like this models?

the girl in the picture...

http://s702.photobucket.com/albums/ww28/鈥?/a>How do I apply my make up to make is look like this models?
Well, she's very pale-skinned, so any of your basic concealers %26amp; foundations that you normally use. (I like to apply my foundations with a brush.)

To really get that model look, try a foundation with a lot of coverage. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, I may suggest Revlon ColorStay Foundation.

Also, it appears she has just a bit of bronzer on her cheeks, but don't go all out, her's is barely noticeable, so try going with a lighter bronze.

Nude lips, of course. I've searched the drugstores up %26amp; down for a good, nude lipstick, but have yet to run across one similar to the one she's wearing, so find a shade at maccosmetics.com, trust me, they have tons of shades of lipstick, you can find the perfect one.

Eyes, she obviously has a LOT of black eyeshadow %26amp; eyeliner going on, so I'd say start with a dark color cream base, (to try a drugstore brand, I recommend looking at Loreal Hip's cream color shadows) to ensure that all of that black eyeshadow doesn't go everywhere throughout the day, then apply a very dark, matte black eyeshadow, (again, very easy to find at your local drugstore) and I'd say apply it only a little bit above the crease, and make sure to make it look smokey, blend it out, also apply eyeshadow below the eye, and of course fill in the waterline with a pencil or crayon eyeliner (I recommend Revlon ColorStay, it stays on most of the day). To even darker the upper lids, you can go with a liquid eyeliner, or I use a cream liner by Loreal HIP. You can even go with either a matte or shimmery white under the brow to give you that highlight, and blend that into the black, but that's definitely preference. It will take a long time and maybe even a bit of practice to achieve this look EXACTLY the way you like it, but experiment around, I used to be into dark make-up like that, and I could never get it right, but after practice, it had gotten almost close to perfect. Hope I helped. (:How do I apply my make up to make is look like this models?
Make sure you have a blank canvas to start with. This can be achieved by a cream to powder formula such as Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous. Apply this foundation with a foundation brush for the most natural, blended look. After, take a smaller brush to go over any imperfections such as pimples, undereyes, eyelids, etc.

Then apply a bronzer (BareMinerals Warmth) to the apples of your cheek, extending towards your hairline.

Then sweep your face with an all over face powder with a large brush to blend in all areas and set the makeup. Try Covergirl Powder Compact.

Put the light cream on the inside corner of your eye to about the middle of the lid. On the outside of the lid, shade with a shimmery black to the middle inside of the lid and a little along the bottom lashline, on the outside corner of the eye and up along the bottom edge of the brow bone, forming a V-Shape. Finally, swipe a shimmery cream like Maybelline's Tranquil Sands along the top of the brow bone and under the eyebrow, and also put a dab at the inner corner of your eye.

Add eyeliner along the top and bottom lashline and smudge.

And thick black mascara is a must! MAC plushlash is my favorite and it is only $11 and is the best mascara I have ever used.

Hope this helps!
Well first off you want to get a concealer.

I prefer dream matte mousse which also decreases shine.

It prices from about 7 to 9 dollars.

Next, you want to get a good eyeliner with a smuger on the other end.

Try rimmmel unstoppable eyeliner.

And lastly get a nude lip color, or even a tinted chapstick.

Next, you want to apply the eyeliner pretty heavily and smudge it with the smuger on the end.

%26lt;333 hope i helped.
It looks like she's using a nude shade of lipstick or maybe a bit of foundation ofver her lips.

Her eyes: She's wearing black mascara, black eyeshadow deep in the duct and over the eyelid but under the brow, she also has mascara on her lower lashes and a black pencil eyeliner on her bottom lid, very heavy and a little bit smudged, also she probably has the same eyeshadow on her lower lid and blended into the upper lid
Sorry to say this, but all of those pictures are airbrushed on photoshop. However, if you're looking for how to do the style like that and nawt the technique, other people will have better answers than i do.
do the basic coverage, and then lots of black eyeliner and black eye shadow.

blusherWhat other make-up can i apply on my cheeks aswell as powder?
Blusher. Available in powder or cream, and the best of the lot BeneTint (from BeneFit) which you can also use on your lips! IBe carful if you're using the cream kind, though, it's easy to overdo it if you're too heavy handed!
a highlighter product will define your cheekbones and brow bones. Apply a small about to those areas that catch the light and it will make your whole face appear brighter and fresher! i recommed YLS Saint Lauren Touche Elat. i may be pricey but it is well worth it!

Good Luck x
blusher like: http://www.asos.com/Too-Faced-Cosmetics/鈥?/a>
A nice pink tone on the apples of your cheeks would be really great, or if you want to look glam and bronzed, try using a bronzer.

How to apply the soft make up? 10 points for the best advise. Thank you?

I want to learn how to apply make up--soft, pretty, and natural like Jessica Alba or Sienna Miller. How to apply the soft make up? 10 points for the best advise. Thank you?
O.k #1 first you get the make up u want 2 wear

#2 to put on blush you get a big brush(blush brush) and very gently get a little of the blush on the brush the just barley skim the brush over ur cheeks.

#3 lip gloss- first don't get a lot og it on ur lip gloss brush- put the lip gloss on like normal - when u have it on take a piece of toliet paper a put it between ur lips.-push ur lips down on the toliet paper

#4 eyeshadow- just like the blush only put a little bit a pressure on the brush when applying.

Hope this helps! It works for me!!!

P.S. DON'T use creams and powders and stuff. It messes up the whole look! Trust me!!How to apply the soft make up? 10 points for the best advise. Thank you?
Get a matte foundation and apply it everywhere. Then apply bronzer on your cheekbones up into your hairline. Next, two coats of mascara in your lash color. Last, rub some cream blush into your cheeks.
Take a little BRUSH and run it through a light shiny gold or white and apply some right to the corner or your eye and a little bit under [ liek the bottom right corner] and same with the other eye. and for the night i would use the same thing but then a a little bronzer. :] and for like lips a verysoft pink with a slear lipgloss and cheeks a little pink and brown.
If your going to use any foundation at all use a tinted moisturizer or a matte foundation.

use a natural gel blush on your cheekboones or on the apples of your cheeks.

for your eyes

again natural eye shadows browns etc

use a powder eyeshadow as eyeliner on your lashline not the inner line

Mascara
well..u should take u time and rub it onto u very softly
I read that Sienna Miller swears by Dermacia foundation. Start there. They have a video that shows how to apply after you purchase the product. It's pretty good make up. Other celebrities that use this are Lindsay Lohan and Teri Hatcher. Good luck.
Natural makeup, so probably no foundation or coverup unless you really need it. A shimmery gold or nude tone eyeshadow and a nude colored eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger. Lips can be just a pinky lipgloss w/o high shine.
First, apply a tinted moisturizer and set with a translucent powder according to your skin color and tone. Make sure it matches your skin, unless you're covering blemishes in which case the foundation should be slightly lighter than the other one.

Next, the eyes. For eyeliner, those with light skin and hair should apply either a bronze or soft brown shade and apply it lightly right on the lower lash line. You can also apply a thin smudgy layer blending into the upper lashes. The same instructions go for darker skinned people, except you can use black makeup. For everyone: apply a small amount of shimmer right by the tear duct. For eyeshadow, use one shade darker than your skin. Then, mascara. If you have blonde, red, or light hair, you should apply dark brown mascara, which will give you a softer look. For a really easy natural look just put on some clear mascara.

Apply a clear or slightly tinted lip gloss to finish the look.

Hope I helped! Hey, I do it every day and everyone says I am beautiful. =]
  • oil companies
  • What is a good cream foundation or dual foundation make-up you an apply with a sponge, that is paraben-free?

The paraben-free websites mostly focus on non-makeup items and sites like Aveda and Clinique refer you to a toll-free number. I would prefer something I can try out in a department store. I don't care for the mineral powders much...TIA for any recommendations. What is a good cream foundation or dual foundation make-up you an apply with a sponge, that is paraben-free?
If you live near a Sephora or Ulta, LORAC makes a foundation called ';Natural Performance'; foundation that is fragrance and paraben free. It's pretty expensive ($40!) but a little of it goes a very, VERY long way. And the packaging is fantastic, and very sanitary.

But definitely go in and check the colors. I thought I bought the right one and then I had to bring it back about a week later because I was looking super splotchy. If they had the right color for me, I would've hung on to it.

Question About How to Apply Bare Minerals Make-Up?

Do you pre conceal or post conceal, which works best?

Also, do you have to use the big brush when applying your first layer of foundation? If you like heavier coverage, can you just go straight to the middle brush?

And If you are using a primer, does it go under the Bare Vitamins rever-upper or after the vitamins application?

Thank you!!Question About How to Apply Bare Minerals Make-Up?
Post Conceal works best for me because it sometimes comes off when you apply the foundation and you will actually see the zits that need to be covered while some may be covered by the foundation.

No, you don't have to use a big brush for 1st application. You can use any brush you want.

A primer should be applied 1st in your makeup rountine.

:DQuestion About How to Apply Bare Minerals Make-Up?
Ehh, I'm not sure how much help I'll be because it doesn't sound like I have all of the products you do, but I personally don't use the Rever-upper, I never liked it that much, I just use Moisturelle lotion. I put that on first, then the Prime Time stuff, I don't have the vitamins application, so I just skip to the foundation. I use the big brush with the really short handle. It's called the full coverage Kabuki brush. It gives me really good coverage and is super fast. Then I put the bronzer on and then the blush and then that's it. I don't use the Mineral Veil because I have really dry skin and don't want to put any more powder than necessary on it. Hope this helps.

How do i apply dramatic eye make-up for a night out?

    so many ways:

a smokey eye is one. it can be done in any shade. you can do whites, black and greys or browns and plums or navies and silver. depends on what you like and the colour of your eyes and skin tone. start with the lightest colour (ex. shimmery vanilla) from lash to brow. then a medium shade (ex. matte slate colour) from lash to right under the brow bone. then the darkest colour (ex. deep night by laura mercier which is a shimmery dark navy) on the lash line. apply it and smear it. the key for a smokey eye is blend, blend blend. then you can leave like that or line the eyes with black liner (liquid or pencil is fine) finish with lots of mascara. remember to highlight the brown bone, the area right under the brow. i suggest stardust by laura mercier.

incredibly lined eyes: use a nice shimmery light shade like stardust all over the eyelid and then line your eyes dramatically with im black with a liquid liner. i recommend a cake line and an angle or flat liner brush since it gives the best control. do an extended cateye like audrey hepburn in breakfast at tiffany's or the main character in the devil wears prada when she is getting ready in the hotel in paris. it is very simple and very dramatic and a classic.

also try using golds, bronze, copper or dark shades with some shimmer like the nars pencil liners with sparkles in it. why i love the deep night is because it is so dark navy that it almost looks black and has a great little subtle shimmer.

i feel that liner and mascara is key to drama. How do i apply dramatic eye make-up for a night out?
Try the bronzed look. Apply bronzer to your cheeks by smiling and barely applying from the apples of your cheeks to your temples but do not go to dramatic on the bronzer. Then try a shimmery tan on your entire eye lid and then a shimmery brown in the crease of your eyes because the eyes is where you want the dramatic to come in. Apply two coats of mascara and swipe outwards when you put it on, this makes your eyelashes more noticeable also try to use waterproof mascara because a night out means your make up needs to hold up all night. Then try black eyeliner on the top and bottom lip and on your actual eyelid get the liner as close to your eyelashes as possible and make a line in the form of your eyelid it looks amazing. Try using a shade darker than your actual lips for lip liner and a simple gloss on the inside of your lip liner for fuller lips after lining them use a lipstick then apply a dab of gloss in the center of your bottom lip. But try not puttin on too much makeup on everypart of your face, this can make your makeup look too overdone just try to dress up your eyes alot. Also you can use fake eyelashes they are cheap and does wonders for your eyes, it might sound weird but just try them you will become addicted. How do i apply dramatic eye make-up for a night out?
There are soo many ways to do this. My advice: look in magazines and find something you like. The pictures are fairly large, so it should be easy for you to see how they applied their makeup.
    As dramatically as possible.

Perhaps try doing it while listening to dramatic music - Phantom of the opera should do it.

Our school drama teacher loved to do a bit of ';stop... carry on'; you could try that.

Why does it say that make up should be applied after wearing soft contact lenses?

Coz I wear alot of eye make up and it doesn't make sense to wear the lenses first and then apply an eye pencil to the lower lid as it will smear the kohl on the lenses. Why is that suggested? Why does it say that make up should be applied after wearing soft contact lenses?
I am a makeup artist and most of my clients wear contacts. The best thing to do is put it on after, that way you can get things the way you want it, and u can see what you are really doing.

    ALSO...

Put soft contact in the eyes before putting on makeup. Put RGP or rigid lenses on after make up is applied.

鈥?Wash your hands prior to putting in each contact, then apply makeup

鈥?Don鈥檛 expose your eyes to water while wearing contacts

鈥?Take out the lenses before you remove your makeup. Avoid greasy or oily makeup removers as they may build up on the contact lenses

鈥?Avoid getting too close to the eye with any type of makeup

鈥?Use makeup that is hypoallergenic to avoid sensitivity. Use only well known trusted brand names

    鈥?Use water soluble makeup

鈥?Use only water-based mascara and a brand that is specific for contact lens wearers. Use two thin coats instead of one heavy coat. Don鈥檛 use waterproof mascara as it may permanently adhere to the lens. Also avoid mascara that contains volume building fibers. Beware of flaking mascara because pieces of nylon can reach the eye and never purchase mascara refills. Replace the tube every three months.

鈥?Use powder eye shadow instead of a gel, liquid or cream. Liquid eye shadow has an oil base and too hard to remove form contacts. Never use eye shadow that is frosted or iridescent. These may contain oyster shells or mica. Use a sponge to apply eye shadow instead of a brush to control flying powder.

鈥?Do not use eyeliner that is directly drawn on the rim of the eye. Keep all eyeliner pencils sharp enough so the wood doesn鈥檛 scratch the surface of the eye. The pencil should be soft and the liquid types of eyeliner may flake off. Apply eyeliner to the outside lash line only. Replace this product every three months.

    鈥?Use pressed powders

鈥?Don鈥檛 use hairspray or other aerosols if you have already put in your lenses. Allow all hairspray to settle before walking into a room that has just been sprayed. Many times hair products can irritate the eyes and they are more susceptible now to problems because you wear contacts. If you must spray your hair after the lenses are in your eyes, make sure you close you eyes before spraying.

鈥?Keep all nail polish remover and perfumes away from your contacts.

鈥?Never swap makeup application sponges or brushes with your friends and wash your application brushes frequently

鈥?Don鈥檛 put on make up if your eyes are already red or swollen, this will only irritate them more

鈥?Never use saliva or water to thin cosmetics

鈥?Never swap your contacts with your friends

鈥?Never wear the contacts if they become cracked, chipped or torn

鈥?You may want to use an eye wash to remove any excess oils from makeup residual

鈥?Replace all of your cosmetics every six months to avoid bacterial growth

鈥?Never apply eye makeup while in a car or worse yet while driving

What kinds of makeup are best for contact lens wearers?

Waterproof/Water-resistant eyeliner and mascara are good, safe options for contact lens wearers. Your eyes may water after you insert your lenses, and you don't want to undo all the good makeup work you've just done. If your eyes dry out during the course of the day or evening, you may need to use a wetting eye drop product to make the lenses more comfortable to wear. Waterproof eye makeup is the only kind which will stand up to so much liquid in and around the eye. Some mascaras can build up the thickness and length of your lashes with silicone and fibers. Save these products for the times when you are not wearing your lenses. If one of these lash-building particles falls into your eyes, you will need to get to a bathroom fast, so that you can get the lens out of your eye and put an end to the severe pain

How do I apply eye make up as in the following pic?

I'm hopeless with eyeshadow and would love to wear eye make-up as in the following pic of Queen Rania? http://www.kmsstore.com/blog_images/Quee鈥?/a>How do I apply eye make up as in the following pic?
Okay, first what you want to do is get a highlighter color. Use a shimmery white. This color needs to go over entire upper eye, all the way up to browbone. (I teach people to start from outside and work your way in. It is akward at first, but it actually covers the area better, and keeps shadow from going out too far.)

Then do a dark brown color in the crease. Start on outside of eye where lid creases when open, and with brush go back and forth like a windshield wiper. If you have deep set eyes or droopy lids you will have to take the crease color up a little higher.

Next pick a creamy color. You could do peach, pink, creamy white colors. They can be shimmery (that's what I prefer). Anyway this one goes only on your lid. Again from outside in.

Then take a nice black liner and line both top and bottom lids. Start on the outside and work your way in (don't tug or pull on skin around eyes while applying because this can stretch skin causing wrinkles...and gravity already does enough to us..we don't need to help it.) Many people think you should only go halfway, but you should go all the way until the lashes stop. Now, once you have done both you need one last eyeshadow color to get the smoked look. I suggest gold because you don't want to go too dark as the look you want wasn't very dramatic. Anyway, with either a q-tip or a eyeliner brush...drag the gold eyeshadow across liner on the bottom lid only. This will give it an excellent effect.

Last, top it off with a fabulous lash lengthening mascara, and use black unless you are a red head with very pale skin (in that case use brown mascara, and a bronze color eyeliner.)

Now...although many people might think this doesn't matter, it really does. The brush set that you use makes a HUGE difference. Don't use synthetic brushes...at least I don't reccomend it. They are too harsh on the skin. Okay...well I hope that helps you. Email me if you want additional tips. How do I apply eye make up as in the following pic?
Just put a neautral color over your entire lid, she used a light brown, then use a darker color on your crease and also toward the outer edges of your eyes, she used a darker brown for that part.
Ok make sure eyebrows are arched to accentuate eyes. Darken them to frame the face. Apply an off white under the browline and in the corner of the eyes to cause brightening affect. Then a ligh brown on the lid, in the crease of the eye use a darker brown. Take either a dark brown liner or a black and apply to the upper lid at the base of the lashes and smudge with q-tip. On lower lid use the liner and smudge with q-tip to create a smokey look. I hope this is helpful.

How do you apply your make up!?

So what is the ';correct'; way to apply your face makeup?? In terms of bronzer, foundation, concealer blush all that stuff. So what goes first?? Can you please list it in order!? thanks! How do you apply your make up!?
    concealer

    liquid foundation

    powder foundationn

    blush

and there are many ways to apply these u can usebrushess makeup sponges or even ur fingers thereisn'tt really a ';correct'; way just guidelinessHow do you apply your make up!?
Okay.there are no set way to apply makeup, just rules of thumb.

Bronzer should be applied with a big fluffy brush to the areas that the sun would naturally hit cheekbones, bridge of nose, forehead. You can also use the ';E and 3'; method which is just applying it in a 3 and E motion on the sides of your face.

Blush should be applied with a brush either to the apples of the cheeks or right at the cheekbone for a more define look.

Foundation can be either applied with your fingers, a flat foundation brush, a stippling brush or with a cosmetic sponge. How to apply will obviously vary because of the number of choices you have. Search videos on youtube. You can use it all over the face or just areas that need coverage.

Concealer can either be applied with your fingers or with a brush. not to be applied all over the face only the areas that need extra coverage. You take some concealer and dab it on problem areas and pat, do not rub.

    Order:

    Foundation

Concealer (You can also apply it before but using concealer after foundation will require you to use less productm and can also rub off when you applu foundation)

    Powder

    Bronzer/Blush
First off it depends what type of skin you have. If you have dry skin you have to put a little lotion on before anything. If you put foundation on top of your skin without lotion its just putting dry on dry. It will look bad. After the lotion you give it a few seconds to dry of course, then you put the foundation on. You have to choose between bronzer and blush because they are both basically the same thing and you can't put blush on bronzer. I would recommend bronzer. Don't make the mistake every girl makes which is cover their whole face with bronzer for hopes of tan. This will turn you orange. You have to gently put the bronzer on your cheeks, a little on your chin, and the top sides of your forehead. Good luck!
ok first you should put on a light allover concealer. Probably a powder kinda would be best like bear minerals thats what i have. Then apply bronzer but not to much and don't focus on the apples of your cheeks when you do this go for the top of you cheek near your temple. Then take a tiny bit of the concealer again put it on your brush then gently sweep it over your face this way it looks alittle more natural.
Always start with a moisturizer, I guarentee you can find one for your skins needs. Get one with SPF to protect against wrinkles and sundamage.

    -foundation

-concealer (applying concealer before foundation makes the concealer not work)

    -powder

    -bronzer or blush.
    First: Concealer

    Second: Foundation

    Third: Bronzer/Blush
    1. Tinted moisturizer

    2. Whipped matte foundation

    3. Powder

    4. Concealer.

    :)
    i like to...

    -apply concealer-

    -foundation-

    -powder-

    -blush/bronzer-

  • What is the best make-up brush to apply foundation with?

If so, do you have any particular brand reccomendations? What is the best make-up brush to apply foundation with?
MAC makeup brush #187 is the best one for foundation. What is the best make-up brush to apply foundation with?
    It depends.

If your using a mineral makeup or liquid or whatever you bought.

-For mineral makeup get a kabuki brush.

-For cream i would suggest a MAC foundation brush. 190# is my favorite!

-And for liquide.. i don't really have experience with liquid but for me a sponge always worked best. But if the brand i bought was too hard for me to blend wit a sponge i would just use my foundation brush.

-if you get a mousse one just use our fingers.

hm, these are the only kind i've ever experienced with..
What kind of foundation are you using?

I use loose powder foundation, and I just use a Total Face Brush from eyeslipsface.com (e.l.f cosmetics). It works well and doesn't shed. For loose or pressed powder I think a kabuki brush will work well too. I think e.l.f has one and MAC and other high end make up brands will too.

For liquid foundation, just look for a general foundation brush. I've heard that the Sonia Kashuk brushes from Target are good, for a good price too. I'm practically positive they will have a foundation brush. i've also heard good things about Eco Tools brushes. Any brand will too!

Any other type of foundation (cream, mousse...) should probably be applied with the hands.

    Hope this helps!
    The bigger, the better.

Question about make-up wet/dray applying techniques!?

Okay, so I know that when you apply eyeshadow make-up wet it looks brighter/darker depending on the color and can cover the eyelid more elegantly, but I sometimes notice that when you apply the make-up wet it also has a better chance at creasing. Why is that? Is there any way for me to apply the make-up wet, but have no crease?Question about make-up wet/dray applying techniques!?
Using an eyeshadow base will help prevent creasing. When applying makeup wet it interacts with the natural oils of your eyelid. So when it dries up the oils make the shadows separate and thus crease. If you use a base such as Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, MAC Paint Pots or Paint or NYX Jumbo eye pencils you can get a primer on the lid that controls makes a barrier between the eye shadow and your eye lid oils.

I like using MAC paint pots since they double up as a shadow for those lazy days.

If you want to learn more I suggest looking for tutorial on youtube or dropping by makeupgeek.com which is a super friendly site devoted to makeup and all it's tricks.Question about make-up wet/dray applying techniques!?
    thats called cheap make up.

it would help to get an eyelid primer though.
It creases because it forms onto your skin more and settles in the cracks. To prevent this, raise your eyebrow to make your eyelid very smooth when you close your eyes, apply it, then let dry without moving. Or, you could use an eye primer which will smooth out the surface first.

How do you apply eyeliner and make-up, also what eye shadow brings out blue eyes?

You can either contrast or complement your eyeshadow. You could do a blue to complement, or a brown, silver or pink to bring some contrast.

Applying eyeliner takes a steady hand and a LOT of practice. Practice in your spare time until you get good at it. Steady your elbow on the counter to help keep your hand from shaking.

As for applying makeup, I suggest you go get a makeover, and the makeup artist can give you tips on how to apply makeup, and you can see how they do it.How do you apply eyeliner and make-up, also what eye shadow brings out blue eyes?
OK what color you need as a dark green purple and a light pink!!To make them POP you need to apply 2 light coats of dark green 1 touch of lavendar or purple and mabey some red or brown you choose.YOur eyes will pop as the boys will whene you walk by!!How do you apply eyeliner and make-up, also what eye shadow brings out blue eyes?
Try Almay intense eyes for blue eyes. I get compliments on my blue eyes every time I wear it.

Basically they just put colors to contrast and make your eye color POP.

I reccommend black eyeliner or dark brown, with mascara to bring out your eyes.

Avoid using the same color blue eyeshadow as your eyes...this'll make you look washed out. Dark blue eyes- baby blue shadow, light blue eyes-darker blue shadow....

Always remember, in makeup less is more....
the most easy way to put on a liquid eye liner is that you can use a eyeliner pencil to draw a line first, then use liquid eyeliner following the line you just draw. that's how easy!
here are some tips for applying eyeliner: http://www.covergirl.com/tips/eyetips/ey鈥?/a>

i think an eyeshadow that would bring out blue eyes is purple. try covergirl berries and cream.
Try this virtual makeover and then check out the application techniques also on the page.

    http://www.marykay.com/michellewebb/what鈥?/a>
I always hear that if you have blue eyes and wanna make them pop, you should use orange. Since that's it's complimentary color i guess. I have blue eyes and i use greys. I think blue would also accentuate the blues in your eyes.

When i apply my eyeliner, i use a dark brown and make a medium sized line about 1/3 of the way towards the center from the outside corners. Then i use a smudger to soften it up. I put Black eyeliner on top half-way to make the appearance of thicker lashes.
When you apply eyeliner, you put the make-up under your eyes which is under your bottom eyelashes. When you apply make-up, you put it anywhere you want on your face *(but try not to get it in your eyes or else it will start to burn)*. The color eye shadows that will look best with blue eyes is the color *(you pick)*... light pink, light blue or white!
the best color to put on if u have blue eyes is a green color or a dark color..
    I can totally relate

    1) apply a cream or liquid foundation with a brush(not a sponge)

2)use a powder foundation to fill in, but not too much

    3) when you apply the eyeshadow use two different shades of the same color-apply the llighter shade almost to the brow to the lashes- then apply the darker shade in a ';V'; shape- next slightly blend them together

    4) FOR THE EYELINER- DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY AROUND YOUR EYE!!!!! very important

just go half way in on the bottom and the top

also use dark brown instead of black

to make your eyes stand out experiment- i like creamish and brown, while my friend uses any color

so have fun and remember to try it out on a weekend and then at school
Speaking as one with blue eyes, i find that purples work really well, especially if you get a light purple eyeshadow/liner like i have from Sephora and color the area immediatly under your eyelashes and then on your eyelid and top off the rest of your eyelid with a shimmery blue...it looks really good.

Before I used to apply make up and it stayed with the same beige color i wanted, now it turns yellowish, help?

I use the same make up I used to use back then. Ever since I moved to Spain ( used to live in Puerto Rico) My makeup tends to turn from a pretty beige natural color, to a nasty, ugly looking yellow/wayy darker tone of beige. I dont know why this happens, and I'd like a bit of help with this..since I really want the whole yellow thing to stop :S ThanksBefore I used to apply make up and it stayed with the same beige color i wanted, now it turns yellowish, help?
It's your skin tone that has changed. I used to live in WI, and when I moved to CA, none of the makeup I had used in WI worked, because my skin tone changed from a cooler tone to a warmer tone. Get new color. Skin tone can change depending on locale and season.

Good luck! Before I used to apply make up and it stayed with the same beige color i wanted, now it turns yellowish, help?
    oh thanks!

    I think I found a solution though :)

I changed the color of the powder I used to use and it works like a charm. So I guess you were right!

    thanks again! Report Abuse

don't know what you are talking about
Your makeup has probably gone bad. Liquid makeup doesn't last forever, and espceially in the heat it will spoil faster. Also, liquid foundation can turn streaky in the heat and sun so try some mineral make up which will work better in the climate where you live.
maybe the make up is too old or becuase you changed your position above the sea this can change the color.

buy new make up and buy it from spain!
The climate in Spain is much different than Puerto Rico, this does effect your skin tone. I can suggest an amazing product for you to try it has been a God send to me. Bee Luscious Cosmetics mineral liquid powder foundation, what is amazing about this product is that it will change to help match your skin tones, it goes on liquid and gives you great coverage yet sets to a smooth powder and delivers a flawless look that appears airbrushed . Its really awesome I think you would be very happy with the results.
either your skin tone changed and it isn't your color anymore, or it's gone bad. either way get new one because it doesn't work for you anymore. hope i helped!

How would i apply make up for the 1970s?

Eye colour, shape, eyeliner and shape lip colour

Day and eveningHow would i apply make up for the 1970s?
The styles the teens wear today is similar to what was worn in the 70's. A lot of white or blue eyeshadow, white or blue eyeliner, lots of lipgloss (with sparkles at night). Blush was a little heavier in the 70's though. I think lipstick colors were brighter too, lots of corals and pinks. Eye liner was thicker and extended out past the edge of the eye a little. Mascara was also heavier. I don't think women tried to make their lips look bigger in the 70's, they usually aimed for more bow shaped lips. This is how I remember it anyway. Remember, hippies wore little makeup, but many loved the disco scene which was in full swing at that time. Disco was all about the flashy stuff.

Hope I helped. How would i apply make up for the 1970s?
take a look at 70's icon agnetha faltskog from the band abba:

    http://www.icelebz.com/celebs/agnetha_fa鈥?/a>

    (she is on the right)

    1. the skin looks very nude, hardly any foundation perhaps none at all. you could use this

http://www.boots.com/shop/product_detail鈥?/a> because i have used it before it is in fact a 'bare skin sensation' it looks like you have no foundation on and feels like you have no foundation on.

    2. as you can see the skin in that photo is very matte and in fact has a bit of a tan because start of 1970's people from northern europe were begginning to jet off to southern europe for foreign holidays and thus tanned skin began to be popularized in northern europe

    http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/prod鈥?/a>

use this powder in either silky beige or champagne to blot out any shine on your face and give you tanned looking skin

    3. leave your eyebrows nude or if you want to go to extremes buy an eyebrow pencil a few shades lighter than your normal brows and sketch in over the top of your eyebrows.

    4. the eyes are the main feature of the typical 1970's make up as you can see in the picture everything else is kept natural . firstly start by outlining your eyes with black black eyeliner no matter how fair you naturally are because eyeliner is a big feature of 1970's make up. use an eyeliner like this line right round your lower lid but dont outline the corners near the tearducts of your eye because agnetha does not have hers done like this

    http://www.discountcosmeticsuk.com/cosme鈥?/a>

    5. use a deep royal purple eyeshadow all over your eyelid to look just like agnetha

    http://www.discountcosmeticsuk.com/cosme鈥?/a> (in jellybean)

    6. overload on the black mascara with one like this

    http://www.discountcosmeticsuk.com/cosme鈥?/a>

    7. as you can see in the photo the lips are completely nude except for a little bit of gloss but firstly to give your gloss staying power outline your lips such as this constance carroll liner in nude

    http://www.saveonmakeup.co.uk/acatalog/S鈥?/a>

    8. then add a touch of clear or peachy gloss to your lips such as buff441 shown here

    http://www.saveonmakeup.co.uk/acatalog/S鈥?/a>

    9. as a finishing touch agnetha sports a bronzey-terracotta blusher such as Beauty Without Cruelty Powder Blush, 02 Tawny Whisper

    http://www.saveonmakeup.co.uk/acatalog/S鈥?/a>

and your good to go ;-)
    with a trowel
    with a trowel!
From what I remember they just slapped it on, on a friday and if you didn!t scrub up over the weekend it lasted quite well till monday or tuesday. Wasn!t cheep at that era.
Green mascara with matching nails and eyeshadow was popular, a la Mary Quant.

Have a look at 70's magazines, She, Vogue, Woman. The Victoria %26amp; Albert Museum have some in their National Art Library. Or go to Portbello Road Sunday market, London W11, a guy there sells old magazines. Try watching The Avengers, James Bond 007 give you a fair idea, in fact most 70's films will give you the general idea.
look up abba or kates bush.
Actually the 70's was all things disco so think over the top and glitter just search on google for disco divas and you should find what you need.
If really want to dress up and do your makeup like in the seventies, you should watch That 70's Show . It is on Paramount 1 ever-day at 20:00. The is no different but the close and the hair style is really unique
Strangely enough the make up of the seventies was dumbed down in comparison to the fifties and sixties with a resurgence of all things obscene in the eighties.
SIMPLY JUST WATCH OLD 70 S MOVIES AND COPY THEIR IDEAS AND THERE YOU GO BABES
    With a trowel Lol
Yes, just paint your face like KISS. they had the best make up in the 70's.
    Ich weiss nicht
I would say just apply the make-up abit more and without foundation but if you do then apply it really thick and no lip liner.

    So i've been told.
why would you want to.. if your doing a 70's theme just go with the clothes..oh and we did not shape our mouth back then with the pencil..did not have them. did have fake eye lashes thougth..but only the low class wore them
IF YOU GO INTO YOUR LOCAL BOOTS OR DEPARTMENT STORE THEY WILL BE ABLE TO SHOW YOU, ALSO BOOTS HAVE CARDS SHOWING YOU HOW WITH STEP BY STEP CARDS FROM SOME OF THEIR RANGES, I LOOKED AT THEM YESTERDAY.
    ask your Grannie, or aunt
you could go onto ebay and type in what you want to apply or purchese
Lots of funky bright colours and thick black eyeliner. Make the eye liner stick out at the sides it will look fantastic!
Depends which part of the seventies.

Early seventies (I was 13 in 1970) Quite 'generous' on the make up with either frosty pink lipsticks or for a brief period the vampish look was in, darker plummy eyeshadows and plum lipsticks. Popular makes at that time until the mid seventies were Miners, Outdoor Girl and Mary Quant (if you could afford it)

I remember at about 15 or 16 there was a craze for crayons (made by Mary Quant) and we would crayon our faces to look like David Bowie off the cover of Aladdin Sane.

Then came punk and you probably know what punks looked like-loads of black lipstick with some bright pink or green hair thrown in for good measure.

From 1978 onwards black lining under the eyes was popular with heavy black mascara and lipsticks or lip glosses. If you can try and get hold of some 1970's girls magazines from that time I'm sure you will get the idea.Popular magazines of that time were Jackie but more usefull would be Honey and 19.

I would say makeup is more toned down and natural these days although I watched 'Loose Women' on ITV this lunchtime and they were plastered in eyeshadow!
use deep blues all over the eye lids, heavy with eye liner top and bottom eyes, don't pluck eye brows, or use lip liners, mascara heavy with false eyelashes. Use a trowel to put foundation on, blusher and powder, then a full packet of face wipes to remove, visit to the doctors to clear up the spots that using this much make up caused, stay in for 3 weeks till spots go and then start all over again. WHY BOTHER.
It would help if you got the afro, the Farrah Fawcett hair, or the long straight Cher hair parted in the middle. It adds to the effects.

Makeup in the 1970s used a lot of purple, slashes of burgundy blush, strong eyeshadow, red, purple, hot pink (fuschia), and brown lipsticks.

They used a lot of glitter too, because it was the disco era.

Especially with the Studio 54 days.

Or, you could apply it with a lot of browns. Brown lipstick, brown eyeshadow.

Don't forget high waisted bellbottom or flared pants, along with the platform boots.

    Or not.

Questi0ns about make-up and applying it.?

Ok first what is that black stick of stuff that people put on their eyes before they start applying the eyeshadow ? Oh?! and What is concealer? The reason why I ask these questions is because I really want to be a cosmetologist soon as I grow up and right now i am not a pro at make-up but i am trying. Why does some make-up look dry and some looks shiny? pLease answer all 3 of my questions to get Best Answer.Questi0ns about make-up and applying it.?
    1.) The black stick stuff:

OK, not so sure what you mean by that but it could be primer you are talking about. Before applying eyeshadow its always best to prime your eyes to prep the lids for the shadow to prevent fading, creasing and help the shadow(s) look more vibrant. There are many primers that makeup brands have, such as Too Faced's Too Faced Insurance, Urban Decay's primer potion and MAC has some primers too.

    2.) Concealer:

Hides blemishes, dark circles, redness and other imperfections on the face. You apply this before putting on the foundation in order to get a more flawless face. It can also act as a primer for eyeshadows. It evens out the skintone on the eyelids too if you have veins on your eyelids.

3.) Makeup comes in different finishes, depending on the product. Matte finished eyeshadow or other facial cosmetic is going to be strictly color and dull, to be blunt. No shimmer, glimmer, or pearl finish will be there. Makeup that is shiny is probably makeup with a pearl finish or a type of finish of somesort that has sparkle to it.

'Hope this helps!Questi0ns about make-up and applying it.?
The black stick could be some sort of eye primer. (But I don't know any eye primers that come in a black stick thing) Or, it could also be an eyeshadow stick. Some people use it as a primer.

Concealer is used to cover up blemishes that foundation can't. (like redness, acne scars, etc.) It also comes in color correcting shades. (like green for redness, etc.)

Some make up have shimmer in them, some are matte, some have glitters, some are frosty. It depends on your liking which ones you want to use. If you're talking about why some make up look shiny on the face, and some matte, it could be because of the skin type of the person using the makeup. There are people with oily skin, dry skin, and some with combination skin.
either the blackstick is eyeliner like people are saying or you are talking about a shadestick which is applied all over the lid to make a sticky base for your eyeshadows.

concealer is used to conceal your undereyes or any blemishes you may have. some makeup gurus on youtube use concealer as a base for their shadow also. but i would suggest a primer rather than that.

make-up depends on the skin. if its shiny they might have moisturizer prior to applying make up or their skin is oily so it got a bit shiny. if its dry they probably didn't moisturize or their skin is dry.
    1) I think the black stick your talking about is eyeliner..

    2) concealer is like cover up for redness, blemishes, pimples and other things on your face you may want to hide

    3) some make-up have glosses/ sparkles added to it so it looks shiny ( or liquid make-up ) or perhaps your skin is just oily %26amp; dry make-up is just like powder or like eyeshadow in plates
Most likely the black stick is the eyeliner. But I have never seen someone put eyeliner on their top lid before applying eyeshadow. If they put it on the bottom of their eyes it is positively eyeliner.

Concealer is used to even out the face and hide certain things like your pores, lines, blotches, acne and/or wrinkles. It can be used for anything.
Ok first what is that black stick of stuff that people put on their eyes before they start applying the eyeshadow ?---------------

    %26lt;i think you are talking about eyeliner or liquid eye liner %26gt;

    Oh?! and What is concealer?-------------

    %26lt;this liquid stuff that blends your skin and covers some of your flaws%26gt;

Why does some make-up look dry and some looks shiny?----------

    %26lt;the ingredients in it %26gt;
    1) eyeliner. that could be in the stick-form or liquid.

    2) concealer. it is used to cover blemishes or skin imperfections. Buy something that's closest to the color of your skin.

    3) Could be because your skin is too oily. You know, the make-up's reaction to the skin could cause such things.
i think the thing that people apply before eye shadow is probably eye liner which can go on your bottom of your eye too or it could be mascara which goes on your eye lashes.

Concealer is something that covers up your pimples

I dont know why make up looks dry and looks shiny but I'm not an expert. Hope thats helps ^-^
I'm really hoping that this 'question' was made as a joke. If not, I think you shouldn't be on yahoo answers, if you don't know what I mean, I mean you're probably too young. If you don't know any of those things you shouldn't 'want' to be a cosmeTICIAN yet.
    black stick = eye liner

concealer = stuff that you put on your face like face paint, its the same colour as your skin and makes your skin all look one colour and covers zits.

dry makeup is powder. shiney makeup is liquid.
the black thing is eye liner and conceler is used to cover the dak ciecles on the bottom of ur eyes come on im 11 and i know this
Go on youtube and search it up....
umm how old are you? shouldn't you know this?

  • What is the right way to apply the following make up?

    1. Eye liner (how much? i really dont want to look goth or anything)

    2. Eye shadow

    3. lip linerWhat is the right way to apply the following make up?
    1. Eye liner should be applied AFTER eye shadow %26amp; BEFORE mascara. You can use either eye liner pencils or dark eye shadows (darker than your chosen eyeshadow colour) with a brush. I wouldn't suggest liquid eye liners as they are tricky to use. Start at the outer corners of your eye lids, as close to the lash line as possible, and work your way towards inner corners. As for lower lids, it is not necessary to line them. Just use eye shadow with a small brush if necessary. Try a lighter shade here so you won't look so goth!

    2. Eye shadows need to be applied with a brush. With single colours, apply evenly (%26amp; thinly) from the lash line to brow bone. With two shades, you can use the lighter shade directly onto your eyelids %26amp; the darker shade to contour the crease %26amp; the outer corners to create a small 'wing'. You can also use a light shade of beige or white to highlight eyes underneath the brows, dotted in the middle of the lid or in the inner corners of the eyes.

    3. Lip liners should either match you natural lip colour or your selected lipstick. Start with the top lip %26amp; draw a small 'V' at the cupid's bow. Then draw in the rest of the lip from the bow to the corners. The lower lip should be lined from left to right or vice versa. Stretch out you lips so you have an even line. Don't line outside your natural lip line as this looks weird. After lining your lips, apply lipstick with a brush %26amp; blend in into your lip liner. What is the right way to apply the following make up?
well first for th eye liner try to put it on very gentlybut make sure you can see it,thenfor eye shadow take a cue tip or cotton and gently sooth it onto the make up then pat it onto your eye and make sure they are the same amount on each eye. Then for lip liner you put it around your lips and try to make sure its not too little or too much maybe average then you press it down GENTLY and make sure you like it.
With eyeliner, use it only half-way on your bottom lid on the inside of your lid. The secret to eye shadow is blend, blend, blend! Use your index finger and apply it. After, blend it with your middle finger! Lip liner should be worn with a lipstick or lip gloss that matches. Never wear lip liner on the outside of your mouth!
    1. line your eye with the pencil.

2.shadow above your eye with the brush

3.line you lips with the pencils

4.did i go to fast for you?
Do the eyeshadow first then apply a little liner on the inner cornors of the eyes. Remember white opens your eyes while black liner makes your eyes appear smaller. Then do the lip liner. But fill it in.
Eyeliner: apply it to the inside and along the eyelashes of the lower eyelid.

Eyeshadow: with a trio of colors that compliment each other, apply the medium color on the eyelid and above the crease (not to the eyebrow, just below it). Apply the darkest shade in the crease and lightly on the lower lid. FInally, use the lightest color right below the eyebrow.

Lipliner: use this to outline your lips. the lines should be curvy, not jagged, and the color should be close to the lipstick color you are using.
eyeliner right where the eyelashes are (1 or 2 strokes)

Eyeshadow(bottom of top eyelid)If you want very visible eyeshadow apply under eyebrow

lip liner(follow along natural lip line not off it. also you wanna do 1 stroke only!!!
only you know how much, experiment. since you seem to be new at makeup I'd strongly suggest not trying lip liner. Unless it's done the right way/in the right color it looks insanely bad

How do you apply Bare Naturale Make-up?

I've got this bare naturale make up by loreal and there are 4 different steps to it. There's concealer, foundation, blush, and finish. I want to know which do you put on first and if there's a video out there that shows how to apply this. I tried looking on YouTube but all I found was mineral application for different brands..I wanna know how to put on THIS stuff. How do you apply Bare Naturale Make-up?
First, use a concealer brush to apply the powder concealer where you need it (under eyes, spots, etc).

Then put a little of the foundation into the lid of the jar (or a small dish) and swirl your brush in it so that the foundation goes into the brush. Then buff the brush in small circles all over your face.

To apply blush, pick up a small amount of product onto your brush. Tap off the excess. Apply the blush on the apples of your cheeks. If you want to contour, take a darker shade and apply it under your cheekbones to define them and upwards towards your temple.

For the finishing powder, just dust it loosely over your face with a big fluffy brush.

EDIT: I just noticed you were talking about the L'Oreal stuff which has the brush on top of the product. I don't particularly care for the packaging because I like to use my own brushes.

There's a video on this page that shows Eddie Maleterre applying it - http://barenaturale.lorealparis.ca/en/ba鈥?/a>

Either way, the trick is to buff and blend, blend, blend! How do you apply Bare Naturale Make-up?
first put on the concealer on problem areas (under eye, pimples, etc)

then foundation all over your face

    then blush on your cheekbones

then use the finishing powder to set your makeup. all over your face.
    i use a putty knife.

What order do I apply make up?

what order would i apply this make up

    .liquid foundation

    .powder foundation

    .concealer

    .bronzer

    .blush

    .eye liner

    .eye shadow

    .mascara

so which order would i apply this?

thanksWhat order do I apply make up?
    -Concealer

    -Liquid foundation

    -Powder Foundation

    -Bronzer/Blusher -not both.

    -Eye Shadow

    -Eye Liner

-Mascara.What order do I apply make up?
I don't know your age, but I would combine a smooth foundation, rather than use two. Unless you are a skilled make up artist, that is going to end up looking a bit heavy. I always put my mascara on first, let it dry completely, then my eyeshadow. That goes against what most experts say, but if I put my eyeshadow on first, I can guarantee that I will smudge my mascara and have to redo everything, especially if I'm in a hurry.

Other than that, the order looks fine. Just don't forget to put your top on first, then apply your lipstick. It's easy to forget that, and then you end up with lipstick on your top.
you're meant to do the eye makeup first - that's what make up artists do so if you get it wrong you can take it off without messing up your skin makeup.

i do the eye shadow first, followed by the liner. then the mascara. then the liquid foundation followed by concealer then powder over the top to smooth it out and make it look matte. then either bronzer or blush not both.
This is what I would do:

    1. MOISTURIZER - you always need to apply that first

    2. Liquid Foundation

    3. Powder Foundation - if you apply liquid and powder make sure not to go overboard

    4. Concealer

    5. Bronzer - no barbie doll tan

    6. Eyeshadow

    7. Eye liner

    8. mascara

    9. Blush
    1. liquid foundation

    2. concealer

    3. powder foundation

    4. bronzer

    5. blush

    6. eyeshadow

    7. eyeliner

    8. mascara

you can also do the eyeshadow after the eyeliner for a more subtle look.
concealer first on whatever you want to cover up, than liquid foundation, powder foundation, bronzer and than eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara. The exact order on the eyes doesn't really matter though.
    .liquid foundation

    .powder foundation

    .concealer

    .bronzer

How much make-up do I apply on a mission trip?

I'm going to be gone in a Guatemala missions trip for a week. I know make-up isn't the number 1 priority on this kind of a trip, but I don't want to completely ignore it and go without make-up altogether. What are some of your experiences on mission trips? Did you take a little time with your hair and also make-up? I need tips. Thanks! How much make-up do I apply on a mission trip?
keep it totally simple. pull your hair back in a ponytail and just use the basics in makeup i.e. mascara and lipgloss. good luckHow much make-up do I apply on a mission trip?
Use concealer where you need it, mascara, and maybe lip gloss. That's what I use when I don't want the ';full package';! :)
I would go with a tinted moisturizer, mascara and lip gloss. Don't cake it on. Forget about the hair just bring a pack of hair ties to keep the hair off your face
None. You are there to help people, not to impress them with your looks.
you most likely won't have much time try using a tinted moisturizer most of them have an SPF in them so it will give you a good finish and protection from the sun. other wise mascara and chapsticks. as for your hair go natural don't worry about it your not there to empress anyone but God and he doesn't care.
I have been on plenty of missions and all I took was lip gloss, chap stick and a little foundation. Just enough so I still felt like a girl but not too much because I was there to work.
Of course you still want to look pretty. Down here in Alabama we know how to apply makeup that lasts in SEVERE humidity. The secret is not to wear too much! If I were you I would probably wear a tinted moisturizer (Merle Norman makes one with a SPF of 15) rather than base which will melt anyway. Forget powder! Use a waterproof mascara and a tinted lip protector like Blistex. Wait until night to wear eyeshadow and liner. Use plenty of sunscreen and keep your nails neat. You'll be great. Have fun down there!
i dont think u should wear any makeup u dont want ppl to think that you are full of yourself...
chances are its going to be very very very hot. And not everywhere you go (if anywhere) is going to have A/C. So i would go with a tinted moisturizer, little blush, mascara, lip balm, and a ponytail. good luck. Thanks in advance for working so hard to help people in underdeveloped countries.
you seriously dont need any makeup at all down there i've been to honduraas and none of the girls down there have any, why would u want any are u tryin to pick up on guys? u are there to do God's work any makeup would be dead weight its whats in your heart that matters not whats on your face
MAC tinted moisturizer is amazing and some Burts Bees tinted chap stick. At the very most add some cheap mascara to the mix, (like maybelline great lash) but i would stick with very minimal and classic pretty.

    How to apply eye make-up?

I just wanted to know how you guys do your eyemake-up. I wanna experiment with mine :)

Btw, what colour of eyeshadow goes well with blue eyes?

Thanks guys. How to apply eye make-up?
Honestly I could tell you how I do it and so can others but sometimes if you watch someone do it you seem to learn how easier ( at least I do ) and there a really a lot of people on Youtube that have great explanatory videos on how to apply products and the best part is you can watch and re-watch and if you find someone that you really like their work you could send them a request on a certain color and most of them do reply. This lady is really good and she explains things really simple ....but there are so many ...just do a search for eyeliner application and see what comes up ... Here is one I do recommend that you check out .....

    http://youtube.com/user/panacea81?ob=1

If you have brown eyes, opt for cool blue or green eye shadow tones like mint, powder blue, or teal. A deep forest green is an ideal eyeliner shade.

And most cosmetic companies have ';live chat'; on their site and you could talk with one of them and ask them what they recommend for you and you are not obligated to buy from them ....if they give you some shades to look at ...you can always shop around and find the same or similar color at a price you can afford....

    Hope this is helpful ~~~

And I wasn't putting you off by suggesting the Youtube Videos ...it really is a great place to learn.....I have a bunch that I have found that are helpful and if you want just email me and I can send you the names of the ones I subscribe to...

Good Luck ~~~How to apply eye make-up?
That's great that you want to experiment!

I have bright blue eyes as well, and I have found that very neutral colors like browns go best with them. If you want some color, I suggest going with a pale green or a lavender. Never wear blue eyeshadow if you have blue eyes!

During the day for school, I usually wear brown eyeliner on my upper lids only, then smudge it a little, but at night if I'm going out for dinner or to a party I will wear black eyeliner and maybe a little dark, dark purple eyeshadow for a bolder look. And lots of black mascara!
When I put on eye makeup I always curl my eyelashes and put on lengthening mascara but everything else varies. Sometimes I put on eyeliner and sometimes eye shadow and sometimes just mascara if I want to add more makeup to other areas of my face. I also have blue eyes and the best colors for blue eyes are brown and blue. You may want to try these products from almay made for blue eyes. They're really nice and work great.
if your eye lenses are blue in coluor, you must prefer red,dark-red or a perfectly black or brown eye shadow.

    for a best eye makeup:-

1)use a black or brown eye liner for your uppers %26amp; lower lids.

    2) use different shades . you can also use your last finger to give a perfect touch to your eyes instead of brush.

    3) do mascara %26amp; use shimer dust to glow your eyes

    nice to ans. you

    bye.
make sure you go a light color it looks best with blue eyes.

Anything light should work and make sure you go all the way up to your brow.It make you eyes really pop. Then use a black eyeliner.Liqued i think looks the best. With lots of black mascara. It makes the eyes really really POP out.
well personally i don't like using eyeshadow but it would look gret with a light pink and under the brow a silver/white.

All i put on mi eyes are mascara, i use an eyelash curler, eyeliner. That makes it look fresh and not too much.

yes but i would wait about 5 minutes.
I have been using proactiv for about six months and I always apply my makeup right after usage. It works great. So my anwser is yes you can.
Yes but wait a little to give time to your skin to absorb the produtc.

I have round shaped eyes how the *&*( should i apply make up?

the exact shape i believe is the one ashley olsen has. round but not simetric, for the crease is wider in the sides close to the nose. :D get it? oh and they're green. http://www.poster.net/olsen-twins-the/olsen-twins-the-photo-xxl-ashley-olsen-6234376.jpgI have round shaped eyes how the *%26amp;*( should i apply make up?

WOMEN, would you apply your make-up on the bus to work?

I see women do this all the time and its increasing, I first seen it a few months ago and now I see at least one woman do it a week! Strange, just wake up a few minutes earlier and do a good job of it rather then getting lippy on yer teeth when your putting it on on the bus.WOMEN, would you apply your make-up on the bus to work?
Hahaha yeah! And girls in my year do it in the classrooms, and they give out if you turn on the light. The light is supposedly 'artificial' and makes you put on your make up weird. But then, of course, they put it on in the dark and they look like ORANGUTANS! :D It's funny laughing at them...mean I know...but they had it coming if they insist to put it on in the dark...and most of the time they have to take it off because when the teacher comes in they tell them too...WOMEN, would you apply your make-up on the bus to work?
    No, I don't do that.

    I do it on't traaaaain!

    :)

    Less bumpiness.

I would wake up earlier but I simply don't want to.

What you gona do? Make me?

And how does it affect YOU, hmmm?

You're lucky they're not putting make-up on you.

Ir is that what you secretly want?

    Are you secretly jealous?

Are you jealous because they CAN put make-up on on a bus yet you can't even put your head on straight in the mornings?

I manage to NOT get lippy on my teeth (I don't wear it...) and can even put liquid eyeliner on without it going skewiff.

I was putting on my mascara this morning and some random girl made a comment to her mate about how it's so amazing that I don't open my mouth while putting it on whereas other girls look like gorms trying to put it on like :O ...

    I can heeeaaaar yoooooouuuuu!
Absolutely not. I don't leave the house until I look ';put together'; even if it means me running a few moments late. If I had to take the bus I would just wake up earlier so I'd be ';put together';. Putting on ones face is a personal thing and isn't to be exposed for all to see. I rarely do it in front of my husband even after 20 years. I don't wear that much makeup as I use Bare Essentials Minerals but I think the situation you are talking about is tacky, tacky, tacky. It's even worse when they are driving and trying to apply make-up!!!

    Peace %26amp; Love :)
Do you live in London?!?!? I do and also see women doing it all the time and it just confuses me!! I'm a woman and I get up reasonably early and still manage to put my make-up on before I leave the house. I would never apply it on a train or a bus and it does annoy me when I see people doing it!
No I would never do it i find stupid nd they might be concited its not pretty to do that in the bus nor the train. Thats why at home we have our mirrors nd stuff =/ unless theres something they cant do at home for some reason like im in hs theres this chick puttin their makeup overdoing it.,ITs Hs..=-= Not the real world its sad how people are now a days...overdoing themselves to look nice and hide their inner beauty
i dont like to do it on the bus or anything but i find my self doing it in the car. but now i try to wake up earlier to apply it i dont need much but hey but i will fix my lipstick any where
Women shouldn't be wearing makeup anyway, its bad for your skin and makes you look like a clown, Makeup is a mask to hide your true self. Ladies a man should like you for who you are on the inside NOT the outside.
I did it once when I was in a real rush. But I found to get to work a bit earlier and do it at work is the best. It just rains off on the way in from the bus stop.
people do it on the train, idk, the lighting is no good, and no steady hand, why not wake up 10 minutes early? or just throw on some gloss, beating ur face en route is no bueno
No, I do it at my desk once I get into work, thats the same if I drive or get the bus.

Unless I'm out auditing, then I have to put it on before I leave the house.
i have never applied anything but lip gloss on the bus but i have seen women doing it...some actually do a pretty good job...i dun think you should have a problem with as long as its not harming you
lol i always put it on before i leave for work. i may re apply on the bus but my main job is done before i leave the house.
I used to do mine on the bus to college, you do actually get used to the bumps and become a professional lol
i do it sometimes on the school bus on my way 2 skool.

Only when i wake up late tho becuz it is harder

2 apply on the bus when its moving =]
Either you do not have time or it needs re-touching.

    Seriously you men never understand. %26gt;.%26lt;
    that's better than the 1's i see driving %26amp; doing eye make-up.
I wouldn't do it on the bus , but i would do it in the car with my husband driving
only it the bus is nearly empty or i look like complete sh*t
Wtf, I never apply my makeup anywhere other than home.
never put make-up on the move
Why would you wanna put makeup on your work bus?
Women who need to wear make up have something to hide.

    e.g. their ugliness
    No get up earlier.
only if i was really late.
I did it when I ran late once.
yes I always put on the lip glass in the bus
I would if i were with someone else!
No, that's really annoying to see that in the morning.
I do it while I drive all the time
    no never
    Don't do that in France.

What is the best way to apply make up??

i want to know how can i use i tin a best way in detail ......help needed??What is the best way to apply make up??
try asking some friends or go to a store that sells makeup...im sure theyll give u pointers and tips for applying the makeup....What is the best way to apply make up??
any beauty product store will help you
For liquid make-up I would say apply with your hands then use a sponge or brush to remove excess and even out coverage. But you should try mineral make-up. You use a brush to apply it and you get great coverage and it isn't heavy or cakey.
If you want precise application, you have to get some good make-up brushes.

Here's a good video on how to do everything and what to use:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-P5bXdOB鈥?/a>
To get a great makeup/ look , you should start with a great skin, if your skin is not perfect, then try foundation. Without a great skin, your makup never look perfect.

You dont have to put on a lot of makeup, just glowing skin, some mascara, blush and lipgloss is enough for the day.

For more drama night look, same principle, must start with great skin, then:

Start with your eye brown, as this will give more shape to your whole facial features.

Then put the lighttest eye color just under your eyebow, the second lightest one on your lid, the darker one on your grease and the darkest one on your outter eye corner. (These colors should be in the same tone, but different in shade)

    Then eyeliner and mascara.

Then lipstick or lip gloss (for lipgloss, you dont have to put on the entire lips, just a little on the center of your lower lip is enough)

Put some blush on your cheekbone, (smile to yourself and put the blush on the bone- not below- that show on your cheeks). Start in and stroke outward.

    Then you are done. :D.

    Good luck.

    How do you apply make-up?

i am 13 and i still don't know how to apply make-up. the whole school would laugh at me cause i am the ONLY one left who doesn't know how to apply make-up

    any tips?

    p.s. i don't need insultsHow do you apply make-up?
Don't worry about other kids laughing at you in school. Just focus on starting with the makeup basics and move up!

Younger teens don't need a lot of makeup, so I wouldn't reccommend immediately diving in to the black eyeliner.

Start small. Unless you have bad acne, don't purchase foundation. buy some blush, and apply it to the apples of your cheeks for a healthy glow!

For you lips, glosses will do. Try light shades of pinks, since they work best with newbies. I would reccommend Walgreens or some other drugstore to find cheaper ones that you can test out.

For your eyes, try some brown or grey eyeliner. Smudge these all around your eyes sparingly to create an easy smokey effect! Or, try light, shimmery shadows with sparkly grey and pinkish tones. Simply swipe light colors all over the eyelid while keeping darker shadow right at the edge of your lashline.

Buy a GOOD mascara, not one that is clumpy or sticky. Just put it on the top part of your lashes to make them stand out.

All these makeups tips will bring out your natural beauty without making you seem like a drag queen. Remember, the best way to figure out what looks best on you is to experiment! Lots of practicing is involved. :)

Hope this helped! How do you apply make-up?
check the links below for beauty tips to:-- Makeup - how to apply.

    http://geebal.blogspot.com/2006/08/free-鈥?/a>
I just use a light blush and if your hair color is blonde I would were a light pink or brown eye shadow if it is Brown a purple or blue if it is black I would go with blue as well as for your lips use a lip gloss hope this helps
At your age and when just learning I would simply use a light moisturizer with sun screen, a bit of blush on the apples of your cheeks, a bit of mascara on your top eyelashes then finish with a nice light lip gloss. Less is more!
go too a makeup counter at macy's or nordstroms and they will teach you. otherwise, ask your mother/older friend/aunt/friend?

    do you have friends?
    heres my routine:

    moisturize your face and neck

apply foundation..i usually only put it if i have a pimple there

then put on powder..i use loose powder, but u can use pressed

i put on eye shadow using a brush

then i curl my eye lashes

i put BLACK mascara on only my top lashes

i use black eye liner only on the bottom %26amp; a LITTLE on top eye lid

i put either bronzer or dark pink blush on my cheeks and across my forehead

    then i put on chapstick

and then lip stick or gloss

since ur so young, i would say use a little shimmery eye shadow, a little mascara on the top lashes, lip gloss, and a little blush.

for make up brands i would recommend MAC or covergirl. they're my faves. dont use eye shadow thats too dark..i like a light shimmery kind. and dont apply TOO much blush, it looks terrible. i usually reapply the powder all over my face every few hours, depending if im sweating or something. have fun and good luck!
Go to a makeup counter at a deptartment store to ask for a lesson. They give them for free but usually expect you to buy products. At 13 you don't need foundation. Just apply powder with a face or blush brush, and use abit of mascara and lip gloss. You don't need much. Use a bit of concealor for blemishes or dark under eye circles.
I have a bit of knowledge on beautifying one's appearance. Personally, ladies who believe in make up at whatever age, should get a facial workout, meaning facial massage, toning, cleansing and moisturizing. This alone will do and will protect your skin from the sun, from dryness, from oilyness and so on and so forth and with regular maintenance, your skin can last. I personally think that we should look natural. A lipstick alone is a magic wand. There are some simple looking women. The more you look at them, you more you find they are very sexy compared to women who go for artificial decoration.

    For myself, I used a bit of lipstick when I was younger. Ordinary lipstick, branded lipstick, cheap lipstick, non allergenic lipstick, lip gloss, special lip cream to protect the lips, you name it and I still get peeling lips. Instead of attracting the right attention from guys, I did attract attention but with the question '; what have you done to your lips ? ';

Then in the end, I get lazy. I tidy my dressing table and even the magic wand is given back to Harry Potter.

I hope you will build up your own self confidence to face life.

    Applying my eye make-up?

I use eyeshadow, eyeliner (top and bottom) and mascara. What order should I apply them in (first- last)?

-Any other tips would be helpful as well such as how to make eyeshadow stay put without having to reapply it every so often

    Thanks!!!Applying my eye make-up?
The order in which you have written above is just fine! I like putting mascara on last just to take all the fall out (from the eyeshadow) that has fallen on your lashes away!

As for tips on making eyeshadow stay longer you will need a base. Urban decay, sold at sephora, has something called ';primer potion'; You apply it from lid to brow, rub it in. and apply the shadow(s) and you won't have to redo or touch up all day. Its around $16 which is a little bit pricey. if you dont want to spend that much hear are a few things you can use

    1. loreal decrease $8~ basically the same as the urban decay but alot smaller! works great!

    2. vaseline~ it works pretty well but will start to crease after a while $3-5 dollars!

    3. water~ makes the shadow adhere to the skin and brings out the pigment! The best part its FREE!

hope this helps you out!Applying my eye make-up?
you can do it in any order that works for you. If I want my eyeliner to be strong, I'll put in on last. If I want it more blended, I'll do it first. I find that mascara is easiest to put on before eyeliner, because I curl my lashes.... and the curler sometimes smudges the liner more than I like. But, I hate how shadow gets in the lashes, so I usually end with another coat as well.

Put some foundation on your lids as a base under the shadow.

put eyeshadow on first then eyeliner then mascara. if you put eyeshadow on last you will get it on your lashes and it will cover your eyeliner so it will look bad. if you put eyeliner on last it will just be hard to maneuver around your lashes i guess. also use a primer so it stays on longer. you can try concealer or cream based eye shadows for this.

    hope this helps(:
eyeshadow, eyeliner then mascara. reason for this type of order because if you apply mascara first and then want to apply ur eyeliner, it'd be difficult because of the curly lashes. well for me anyway. and puttin eyeshadow first would be much easier nto worrying it going over eyeliner when you put on AFTER
use top eyeliner first, then eyeshadow, then bottom eyeliner then mascara last, as the eyeshadow might go on your eyelashes!
    eyeshadow, mascara, then eyeliner,

and to make you eyeshadow stay on use and think concealer it works great

  • How to apply make-up perfectly?

How can i get my make-up on perfectly and have it stay perfectly. My face make-up always seems to come un done. I guess what i wanna know are the tips to a perfect complexion when wearing make-up or any great make-up tips!!!!How to apply make-up perfectly?
Firstly, make sure you use a moisturizer before putting on any make-up. This will prevent your skin from drying up and the foundation looking cakey or ashy after a few hours. Make sure you use a moisturizer designed for your skin, so find out if your skin is dry, normal, oily or combination and use one for that type of skin.

A good foundation is key. Use a high quality brand if possible as the foundation is the base of all make-up. Make sure you start from the nose outwards when applying, as you do not want a line around your face.

Concealer should be applyed after foundation, as foundation covers up most of any blemishes therefore you use less of the concealer. This will maek your skin look flawless and smooth and rid of any lines, spots or redness that you may have.

Adding a little blush or bronzer is great, as it gives depth to the cheeks and a bronzer will make you look more tanned and give you a healthy glow (great for a holiday!) it also can make your cheek bones look higher if you contour too.

Lipgloss or a nude lipstick gives your lips a little colour but doesn't overpower your face, making it a little too much for a holiday. (But great for a night out as it looks more night-wear than day).

Also make sure you wear a powder over your foundation to set the foundation and prevent it from running ot melting away in the heat.

A little mascara can also go far - depending on which type you use, it can make your lashes longer, thicker or more curly and bring a subtle atention to the eyes- without making it look like you have loads of eye makeup on!

Hope this helps :)How to apply make-up perfectly?
I have notice on my skin, that when I dont drink alot of water, my foundation and powder does not look right. Keep hydrated. I also recommend M.A.C Fix +. It helps to keep your make up longer and its also a skin refresher. You might also want to stop by a make up counter and have them match your skin. If you are wearing the wrong color, it might not look perfect!
the best thing to do is start with a clean foundation - make sure your face is clean and moisturized.

Use a primer - Rimmel makes a good one that is not pricey.

Then the foundation you use will stay all day. Depending on the type of foundation you use will determine the type of applicator you use.

But for most foundations a good makeup brush works great and leaves a good finish.

Don't forget to put a setting powder on after your foundation. A translucent loose powder works best lightly dusted on over foundation.
Just don't put a lot on. That's the most important thing.

spray a lil hair spray on your face (obviously with your eyes shut!) and this will help your makeup on longer.
