How do I learn to apply make up?

I am 21 and dont know how to apply makeup; the only times I have had it is the rare wedding and even then my mom or my sister apply it but I think they do it wrong or they are biased because each time, I cry because I look like a drag queen (to myself at least).

Please do not suggest going to make up counters or stores or salons etc. to learn because I just cannot. I have an anxiety disorder and body image issues, and I simply cannot at age 21 go and ask those beautiful and confident women how to apply lipstick and what in the world is a curler. I swear I would run out crying; I have tried before but I have always chickened out and ran away. I dont even belong on the same floor as those make up counters. This is my mindset so please dont suggest that.

Are there other ways to learn privately? By myself? Where I dont have to rely upon someone else and be embarrassed? Are there books? I love books lol.How do I learn to apply make up?
Don't be intimidated! It just takes practice! :)

THese people's videos have helped me learn to apply makeup better. Just take some time and sit down and watch them. It is worth it. These people usually use MAC makeup, but you can imitate with cheaper versions. The best place I think to get makeup is Target. I have all the Sonia Kashuk brushes and I use mostly Covergirl makeup and some Ulta brand stuff. My all time favorite mascara is covergirl lashblast, my favorite blush is ulta cream blush in playful, my foundation is mabelline dream matte mouse, i use neutrogena powder, and eyeshadows from ulta. Hope this helps! If you want a book, I would recommend Bobbi Brown, I got her ';Teenage Beauty'; book when Iwas 16 and it really helped me learn and sparked my interest in makeup. Granted, you aren't a teenager, and the book is geared for young teenagers, it's a great starter and has alot of info on confidence! :) Hope this helps! Good luck. You are fabulous %26amp; don't you forget it!How do I learn to apply make up?
Borders has beauty books for hair and makeup. (At my Borders, the beauty section is right next to the nursing section). They usually have good stuff!
Go to Youtube, They are alot of amazing people doing makeup tutorials. Try Amy B, Pursebuzz, Xparkage, Kuuipo, Makeup Mondo. They are all fab. On books, try Bobbi Brown's Makeup book. They're all sorts of tutorials on applying makeup, and it's easy to follow.
Amazon.com has a few books for sale on beauty, just enter beauty in the keyword search, it will take you right to them. As for the curler, it's a wickedly evil tool to bend your eyelashes into a more curly shape, nasty and can damage your lashes or pull them out! Stick to maybelline, many of their products have instructions, tips, and pictures on the package to help too. Sit down one night, start with just a little color, add more only if you think you need it, makeup should look barely there, not like a clown. Good luck!
Practice!

If its a day when you have a lot of extra time on your hands, try putting some make up on!

Blush is easy--just smile and apply it little by little on the apples of your cheeks

Mascara is easy too--Just brush some on your eye lashes, and try not to let it clump.

Eyeliner takes practice--Do it little by little and try not putting it on too far from your eye/too close to your eye

Eye shdow is a little hard to explain--Seventeen.com has tips and instructions

For lipstick and lip gloss--Just put them on your lips! =D

Good luck! Make up just takes practice, thats all. Dont worry. ;)
Sephora.com has how to videos on there website on how to do makeup. choose the makeup brand and usually somewhere on the page it will say get this look click on it and it will tell you how. good luck!
there are actually lots of books that help you do it and many MANY websites to help you also. if you wanna just look simple and natural all you need is a light colored eyeshadow (applied first on eyelid using the included applier thing), a light colored eyeliner (applied above the lash line on the bottom- just draw with it like you would a pencil) or mascara (horizontally hold the brush and brush it through your eyelashes in the direction they grow- for the top ones, up for the bottome ones, down), a natural colored blush (just use a little on a semi-diagonal angle from where the apples of your cheeks are to like an inch more or less from your ears using the brush), and a sheer lipgloss (hopefully that is self explanitory...).

good luck and def look for any books or go to google.com and search different things you want to know about makeup. and i understand your mindset but if you really want to know how to do it ';right'; they're your best bet.

good luck! =)

How do I apply a certain type of eye make up?

I want to try doing a smoky eye look...I know how to do most of the eye shadow but applying the eye liner on the bottom is hard for me. I normally just smudge mascara on my bottom eye lashes making it look like eye liner but it looks horrible and I really like dark eyes. Anyways, how do I do it?How do I apply a certain type of eye make up?
Just smudge it with a stiff type of brush. A pencil brush will be perfect way to do it. AN angle liner can also do the job. Put the same color that you put on the top of your lid, then apply a liner. Smudge, smudge then smudge it.

Just practice %26amp; practice, you'll get it after a couple of tries,im sure!

^_~How do I apply a certain type of eye make up?
With a traditional eyeliner brush or angled brush.

Can I use the Duac soap free cleanser to remove my make up and then apply the topical gel?

I think I used Duac before my nose job. It helped clear up my acne a little too. I would use make up remover first if it is because you are prepping for surgery. And if you go in for surgery, drink ike 9 bottles of water 24 hours before. I wish I did! It took me an hour and a whole CC to pee in the cup! TMI I know.

  • The right way to apply make up?

I've been watching shows that introduce different kinds of make-up that are good and they often try it on the celebrity guests.

However,I have no experience in putting make up and I often do not understand what they mean. For eg,if I put like moisturizer on before foundation, what kind of foundation should I use?

I once put on foundation and blahblahblah for a photo needed for my passport but the foundation totally made me looked like catwoman with a lighter skin shade around my eyes and nose but the rest of my face darker.

Also,I wear spectacles, will the spectacles cause the foundation to be uneven? The right way to apply make up?
you don't always need to copy what they say on the guest shows.put the moisturizer on before the foundation and then apply the foundation after the moisturizer dries a little. don't use foundation unless you have to ex. if you have an uneven skin tone that day or something you need to cover up. try on the foundation on your hands. in many stores now they have samples of makeup you can try on. rub it on your hands and then if it matches the skin and you like the feel and texture of it buy it. dab on small amounts at a time and not all over your face. after you can dust on some powder evenly.

eyeliner: draw a thin line from the outer corner of the eye to the inside. if you want a more natural look then wear brown eyeliner and black eyeliner for a dramatic look. less is more. if you want your eyes to pop out then close your eyes and drag the eyeliner from the outside it on your upper lid. brush on some poweder/eyeshadow so it will stay on and not smear.

mascara: then put on mascara. i usually put on 2 coats and use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes. put mascara on always before you curl because if you curl your eyelashes before the mascara it won't stay as curly and also your eyelashes tend to fall out quicker. after that i apply one more coat of mascara.

lipstick/ligloss: i apply chapstick and then put on a tinted pink lipstick and a clear shade of gloss. the nyc company has really good lipgloss for like 1-2 bucks

eyeshadow: you don't have to wear eyeshadow everyday but i wear it for special occasions. use darker tones if your going out at night or to a party like a plum color and lighter , netural tones for a natural shade like light brown. blend it in. also you can put a dot of white eyeshadow in the middle of your eybrow to make your eyes look bigger

no spectacles won't cause the foundation to be uneven. try getting frames to make your eyes/face the best. i used to have circle frames and now i have contacts and these really great square frames that bring out my face more so talk to your doctor if you want new frames.

also try bobbibrown.com for some good tips

hope this helps=]The right way to apply make up?
after trying different lotions, the two i like most are Aveeno and Nivea. both are fragrance free and really work. make sure the foundation you're using is oil-free and water based so it doesn't clog your pores. and if you wanna make sure that the color is going to be the right one, go to a cosmetics store like sephora and get a professional to match your skin tone and tell you exactly which foundation you should get. watch carefully how they apply the makeup on your face and you should try to imitate that when you do it yourself.

    good luck!
Hi with the foundation just put on normal foundation but wait til the moisturiser has dried. Make sure it is the same skintone as your skin at least near it anyway.

I wear glasses as well but no the foundation isn't uneven because it is hardly noticeable enough to notice that.

How do you properly apply make-up? And why kind should I use?

So, I don't wear make-up very often (not at all really) and no one is around to show me how to use it. I have eye liner type stuff, lip stick, lip gloss, mascara, and three shades of pink eye shadow. So how do I apply this stuff?

Also, what color eye shadow and stuff should I be using? I have light green eyes, fair skin, and really dark brown hair...so any suggestions? Are there any good products I should be using as well?

I'm the kind of girl who wakes up in the morning, runs a brush through her hair, and calls it good. So, can anyone give me the run down on apply make up? Merci. How do you properly apply make-up? And why kind should I use?
Eye liner: You pull down the bottom of your eye and put the eyeliner right under your bottom eyelashes.

Masccara: You take the brush and you open your eye wide and take some swoops on to you eyelashes. Blink while your doing it.

Eyeshadow: Just start at the bottom of the EYELID and swipe it across then go higher and do the same. (go as high as you want.)

I think you should e wearing misty grays and darrk blues, deep purples and dark greens in eyeshadows. Use Black Mascara and eyeliner. your welcome. :)How do you properly apply make-up? And why kind should I use?
Maxfactor is the best makeup because it stays on for longer ... a tip for you always put powder over the top of your foundation because it will get rid of bloches and also it protects the foundation underneath and it will stay on longer.. trust :)... the best way to apply makeup is the foundation with a sponge and eye shadow just put darker on the bottom and get lighter up the eye.. good luck

I have blue eyes. how should i apply eye make up to make them ';pop';?

eyeliner tips as well as eyeshadow.I have blue eyes. how should i apply eye make up to make them ';pop';?
go to ulta and in the 5th isle

    they have this ahmazingggg

eyeliner its a light gray and

    it enhances blue eyes incredibly

the lady told me miley cyrus

usues it and i have been hooked

since i looked in the mirror after using itI have blue eyes. how should i apply eye make up to make them ';pop';?
you should try going with a pink or purple or even brown those are the colors that make the eyes pop. try to stay away from the same color as your eyes that doesn't look good Report Abuse

For eyeshadow definitely green because it's close to blue it both matches and contrasts it at the same time. For eyeliner rock the black
i would try peach or pink eye shadow and blue eye liner will really make your eyes look very beautiful.!
    Eyeshadow:

~a bronze, gold, or peach earth tone would make your eyes stand out

~smoky blues and browns would work if applyed correctly

    Eyeliner

~use a liner pencil (grey or black) and put liner across the lash line on upper lid

~use a sparkle liner on bottom lid

    ~don't use both at once

    hope this helps
For Blue Eyes: Baby blues are best accented by brown or navy liner. Charcoal or grey shades are nice for a bit of drama goes for eyes shadow and liner
    Pink and Black eyeshadow

    With Gray Eyeliner

    OR

    Smokey eye

    With a pink eyeliner
Well, I have blue eyes to and for eyeliner I use either blue, black, white, or brown. Those colours really make blue eyes pop(good for eyeshadow too). When doing eyeliner line the whole top lid to make your eyes look even bigger.
    go to sephora or urbandecay.com

and get their liquid glitter eyeliner

and get blue, it will make your eyes pop

    thats what i do

the brand of it is urban decay its $18
definitely wear earthy warm colors! like the ones above i agree you should go to a specialist or go to a place like sephora and play around a bit til you find some colors that make your eyes pop!
u should put bright pink eye shadow on, there is some stuff i use called HIP and then put some black onyx covergirl eye liner on

How do I apply make up?

Hi all, this may sound strange but I am 25 and have never worn alot of make up. I have no idea on how to put it on properly so that it looks good. I have bought various different pens for putting on eyeliner but I can never get it right and end up looking like something out of halloween! So now for some reason I am getting more interested in putting make up on, but I dont want to look like clown I prefer a more natural look, also I need advice on how to do make up for going out in the evening there is no special event really but I want to look good as I belive how you look reflects how you feel.

If you could give me advice and tips and hints would be great. Thanks How do I apply make up?
First, make sure you put on some moisturizer (unless ur skin is very greasy) b4 u put on foundation so it'll blend well.

Next put on foundation, but don't put it all over ur face, only put it on places where you need it; (eg where there's redness, uneven skin tone etc), this way ur foundation will look very natural, make sure u blend it well. I find liquid foundations works best. Blend, blend, blend!

Next, if you have under eye darkness put some concealer (or even the ssame foundation if it's thick enough, well I do this %26amp; works 4 me). otherwise just use concealer, dot under ur eyes %26amp; blend gently under ur eyes, don't drag as this area is very delicate. make sure you dot %26amp; pat it so it'll spread evenly %26amp; looks natural.

Then, blusher, choose a colour that's one shade darker than ur skin, not too dark, I find terracotta colours %26amp; beige tones works for me but I have light olive skin. u have to just try different ones %26amp; see which one u like, it just takes trial %26amp; error. then, dust the blusher brush in the powder %26amp; shake the brush to get rid of excess; then smile so the apples of ur cheeks stick out %26amp; apply to the apples %26amp; blend outwards, this again takes practice to see how much outwards to apply. for example I also blend outwards %26amp; down towards my chin but this suits me but u have to have big cheeks for this.

I don't wear eye shadow as I wear lenses so I can't help u there sorry but for eye liner, I normally draw a line across the top lashes close to the lash line(sixties look) %26amp; if you want a smoky look smudge this slightly. Some people also draw a line on the bottom lashes close to the lash line %26amp; smudge this slightly but I don't like this, esp. with the top line being heavy.

Lipstick %26amp; lipliner: draw lip liner just inside the outline of ur lips, smudge it again so u don't get harsh line effect which makes lips look thinner. then apply lipstick %26amp; take a tissue paper %26amp; put it between ur lips %26amp; press so to egt rid of excess grease from the lipstick. I normally buy matte lipstick as I don't like the greasiness on my lips or I buy a lip liner I like %26amp; apply it all over my lips with a tiny bit of vaseline or sth.

I suggest u look out for articles in magazines with make-up lessons or tips. I have been doing this %26amp; have collected (slowly!!) lots of advice %26amp; also practiced alot so u get the idea what suits me, as everyone has a different face %26amp; if sth suits me , it might not suit you. The trick to looking natural is blending, going for neutral, nude shades %26amp; blending.

PS. One very important thing is for ur foundation to match ur skin, otherwise u look cakey, MAC normally have make-up artists %26amp; they'll match ur skin for you.How do I apply make up?
you are most welcome, I hope it has helped,

    xx Report Abuse

Well, for an evening look you will want to have something on your face even if your skin is great. If your skin is really good then buy a tintd mousturiser which is like a really light foundation and just apply that like a mousturiser.

If you want to use foundation then i suggest using a foundation brush which you can uy really anywhere. You just really paint it on your face using across and downwards strokes. Just make sure you blend it in very well with the brush so you dont end up with lines from the bristles. Then slightly dampen your fingers and blend into jawline.

Then use some mascara. Appply in zig zag motions to give more volume.
first you out on your foundation using a make-up sponge, you can buy these from boots or any chemist, make sure the foundation is the same colour as your skin, its best to test on your jaw line

then apply conceal or, i usually just use my finger

then the foundation powder using a cotton pad then brushing the Access off

then blusher, when applying blusher start from the top of your cheek bone (near your ear) this is beacause if you start from the bottom of the cheek bone (near your nose) 90% of the blusher will stay in that place due to the hair growth on the face
    hey

wel ive wear makeup everyday and it dont turn out purfect never

wel get a foundation that the same coulor or mabey more darker but not to dark for ur skin

then do a little bit of a blush on if u want , and eyeliner wel just do it near where the eye lashes start and mascars ia easy really and the rest

    hope ive helped u

    xx
Make sure your foundation is the correct colour- cos you don't want to look orange.

Use a brown eye liner pencil, and gently smudge it in, so it looks more natural, and it doesn't matter so much if it's not a perfect line.

Use clear mascara for a more natural look

    (Y)
first put your foundation on then put a base on your eye lids pick a brown eyeshadow and put it on lightly pick a brown lipstick to
You can watch tutorials on YouTube. They really helped me out!!

    Hope I helped :)
well if you have bought eyeliner then just put it on any way you know how (its hard to explain might wanna ask a Friend 2 teach you) then for the skin bear with me this may be long

1.get a good foundation one that preferably matches your skin tone or is close make sure your not allergic to it test it on an unseen part of your body (behind your ear maybe)

    2. to apply the foundation if you have a powder then you may want to put some water on the sponge you are going to apply it with.

3.get a good high quality concealer so to apply test it on your ear again to make sure your not allergic to then use your finger and only put it in areas you think are darker or lighter e.g. under eyes around mouth etc.

3.now your almost done with the skin just apply some sutle blush although this is optional becasue some people have naturaly rosy cheeks and if you do just don't waste your money.

    4. the eaiset step lip gloss if you really want this natural look you can find a clear one that just adds shine or just a slight pigment change

I hope this helps P.S ig nore any spelling mistakes

How can i apply make up light?

I want to know how i can apply makeup light so nobody can see it but it just puts a sparkle on my face.I know not to wear mascara or lipliner(Wich i never wear).I want to put on really light blush, lip gloss, and eyeshadow.Im not good at applying it light,if i do my eyeshadow is a brownish and you can see it and my blush is a darkerpink. I also wear glasses and will never wear contacts because i think i look pretty in my glasses. How can i apply make up light?
First, keep your face clean. Use a foamy wash or something that's made for your skin type (dry, oily, etc.)

Make sure your face is moisturized. Putting make-up on can sometimes dehydrate your skin.

Use concealer under your eyes. Use a brush shaped like a foundation brush. also a good tip is to use one shade lighter than your skin shade.

Get a foundation or a tinted moisturizer which matches with your skin and blend all over your face with a brush, until you come across your jaw line.

Lightly dust some powder on, this will blend in with the foundation to give it a more matte finish. You can go to a makeup counter at the mall and have a professional makeup artist help you find the right color.

Put on the eyeliner Make sure to keep your eyelid taunt(still). You want to get the line AS CLOSE TO the lash as possible. Use a thin line not a thick one and you'll look a lot better.

Brush on the eyeshadow Many different colors of eyes require different colors of eyeshadow. First look up what is best for your eye color, and then begin. You want to use 2 colors, so pick a medium dark color, and a light color that will highlight it. Sweep the highlighting color from the corner of your eye up to the brow bone. fill in the rest with the main color. DO NOT use a lot because a little goes a long way.

Put on some lip balm. Make sure that you buy a lipbalm with spf, as your lips need protection. Try Mac's tinted lip conditioner, it includes things such as, vitamin E and A and has spf 15.How can i apply make up light?
oh gosh honey, its not that hard. keep your face moisturized and clean. If you use a liquid foundation you wont have a sparkle when you put it on light. When you buy your lipgloss choose one with a more liquid consistency. Then for eyeshadow, use MAC color splash, it is the least heavy eyeshadow. you can apply it until you have the right color.

Ugly; i know. HELP! it's 7:16 p.m. here and i go to the stop at 6:00 a.m. so yeah.

And i have just a few pimples around the T-zone.

HELP?How can i apply make up and look prettier?
Firs of all, you're pretty even with out makeup! I mean, look at those amazing lashes!

But, if you want to add makeup here's a few tips you need to know:

    1. Less is definitely more. Makeup should be used to accentuate what you already have, so slathering makeup on you face each morning is more than likely to make you look worse--as well as ruin your skin.

2.For eyeshadow, the simplest way is to do the age old three color reutine. Get three shades of one color, like brown. Apply the medium shade to your lid, just past your crease. Apply the lightest shade right on your brow bone(just under your brow-usually just a shimmer) and the darkest in your crease(where your eye folds). Add eyeliner and mascara.

    3. For a darker night/party look-apply the medium and light shade just like in #2, only apply the darkest shade in the corner of your upper lid as well as along your lower lashes.

    4. For your face, if you don't need foundation, don't, under any circumstances, wear it. If you have oily or acne prone skin you'll end up clogging your pores and even more pimples in the long run. For the upcoming spring and summer, try a tinted mousterizer instead, like the inexpensive ones from Neutrogena. They have lighter coverage and are better for your skin.

    5. Blush-smile, and apply it in a circle on the apples of your cheeks. For a more edgier look, take a darker blush, a red or a plum and apply it higher on your cheek bones. It will give you a more contoured look--make you look leaner.

    6. For eyeliner, don't over do it. Apply a thin to medium line on your upper lid and wing it up at the end for a more elegant look. Another tip-if you want your eyes to look larger don't fill in your water line with black-try white instead.

    7. Finally, for lips. Never for get this rule-have only one focal point on your face at one time. If you wan't to play up your eyes with darker shadow, liner, and mascara, leave the lips light-shimmery pink and clear shades. If you want to play up your lips, apply a darker lip color, and leave your eyes plain.

    Hope this helped,

-NHow can i apply make up and look prettier?
You're seriously pretty. I'm not joking or trying to get best answer or anything. Boys don't think you're ugly, boys just like the girls that wear make up (not loads of it). I think you should just wear some black mascara and some lip gloss. You'll look great. :D
i wish i had your face any ways the good news i think a smoky look for the eyes would look good on you the bad news i have no clue how to do it maybe somebody else knows then i could learn
HON YOU ARE PRETTY WITHOUT BUT YOU PROB. HEAR THAT ALL THE TIME..LOL. JUST USE A DK BROWN EYELINER TO ACCENT YOUR EYES AND LIGHT BASE IF NEEDED ,APPLY YOUR EYELINER ON THE BOTTOM OF EYELIDS ..REALLY THATS ALL YOU NEED
I think you should bring up your self-esteem and confidence first. You are not ugly.
    Hunnie, nv say those things!

    Ur cute!!!!!

Remember less is better, with the makeup.

    :)
Just for the record your stunning and I'm not just saying that.

    :)

But, you can use makeup to bring out some of your beauty that you really can't see.

To start off your have very nice skin with minimal imprefections. A mineral powder foundation would work perfectly on you. I reccomend maybelline's mineral power power foundation. It works great and it's cheap!

    http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Face/F鈥?/a>

If your comterble with wearing eyeliner a nice choclate would really bring out your eyes. But if not all you really need is a dark brown mascara.

To finish off you could try a little peach blush, perhaps some bronzer?

    Hope I helped!

    :) %26lt;3
Well, first and foremost, you're not ugly at all. Now that we have that straight let me just tell you that 12 and 13 year old boys aren't necessarily the brightest. They pretty much go for what they think they're supposed to go for. Apparently cheerleaders are what they think is socially ';cool.'; Whatever, you'll meet better ones in high school. If you don't, then you will for sure in college. Anyway, since you're just going to school, I would put on either the beige or the pink/beige color on your eyes; the pink/beige would probably bring your eyes out more so I would actually go with that. Then put on your eyeliner; here's how: pull the outside corner of you eyelid tight and then slowly apply you eyeliner as close to the lash line as possible in a thin line. Then put on the mascara, the blush (make sure to blend it so it doesn't look ';clownish';), and a clear or light pink lip gloss. Want to really make the guys jealous? Next time you have a school function where you can dress a little fancier put you makeup on more dramatic (if you do it too dramatic at school it won't look as good since it will look out of place). Anywho, apply a purple eyeshadow to your lids (purple brings out green and brown eyes!), apply the eyeliner to both the top and bottom lid (for the bottom lid, apply it on the inside of the lid right above the lash line; it will look more glamorous), apply your mascara (add an extra coat than usual to make your lashes more dramatic), apply your blush, and then a lipgloss of your choosing (pink would look good). Remember, you are only 12 so you are still growing and developing into you body, and you really aren't ugly at all. Hope this is helpful!
you really do look cute without makeup..but it's not a bad thing to want to wear it...so what i would recommend is lighter colors for you..stay away from red or pink blush, eyeshadow and lipgloss. you'll look really (no offense) clownish!...go with some easter colors like, light yellow eyeshadow or something. or maybe consider dying your hair..sometimes the color of your hair can make a big difference in the color of make up you wear.try liquid eyeliner it goes on alot smoother. close one eye and stay as close to the eyelid as possible, one streak from the inside of your eyelid to the outside should do it. basically if your going to apply makeup go light on colors so that it doesn't look like too much!! ya know?
Your not uglyy!! You just to have more comfidence.. Wear some foundation/cover up to make your skin tone even. For your eyes do this..:

-Eyeliner: pull the corner of your eye out like strteched. Then apple the liner to the whole lid (not inside though) Let your eye go and look if the line is even. If it isnt smudge the black with your finger, a q-tip or a smudge brush so you dont see your skin between. The on the bottom drag it right across your lash line. **dont use too much or you will look emo.

Eyesahow: I think purple or like a beige brown color would look awsome on you. Take a plette with beiges and browns and fisrt take the beige and apply it all over the lid not abbove the crease though. Then take the brown and apply on the crease this just opens up your eyes. If you use brown eyeshadow you should go with a brown liner because its les ahrsh but you could use black with purple.

Lip gloss: Dont use red eww.. Use a pink or nude colour but really glossy.

Blush: Use a light pink and cover you apples (smile and cover the cheek part) with a blush brush.

And with your hair do different things with it.. curl it sometimes pull it back in a classy pony tail.

Sorry it so long but i think with a look like this you will look great:) If you dont get what i wrote cause its kinda comfussing go on YouTube and type in makeupp tutorial...

I'm sure no one on here would know the exact way, I would email a Sephora rep online-- they tell you the best products to use and help you execute it flawlessly. From personal experience, it's been very helpful.
It's called black eyeliner all around your eyes. Just use any black eyeliner.
    Ok. You will need:

    Black pencil eyeliner.

    Black Liquid Eyeliner.

    Some kind of light eyeshadow.

    Tanish Blush.

    Clear lipgloss?

    Ok.

it is really hard to explain the process! Sorry!!

    Hope this much helps tho.
a lot of eyeliner that all

and when you put in on fo on the eyelib as well but for the top follow you eye spahe and the point out
H.I.P. liquid eyeliner. Apply to the top lid (as much as you want, as far out as you want). Use a soft, waterproof pencil for the bottom (again, as much as you want, as far out as you want). Just don't make it look too Cleopatra.
    check youtube for tuitorials
put on dark black eyeliner all around the rims of your eyes (thicker at the ends) than put on a charcoal colored eyeshadow. I'm not sure what brands to suggest? but you could try walmart? lol

that's where I get my make up all the time.

    x
    This is actually pretty easy:

Step 1: Buy liquid black velvet eyeliner probably rimmel london

Step 2: Apply really close to the eye and add alittle thing on the end of your eye like egyptian you know... anyways.

Step 3: Go over it twice and add mascara rimmel london too.... and voila...

    Hope I helped

    xoxo

1.use any eye liner in black. Then line your upper eye lashes and your bottom lash line as well.

2.Next take a smudge brush and smudge the liner on your top lash line, make sure you smudge it all cross your lid. Also make sure you smudge your bottom lash line too.

    3. Use a black mascara and you done.

Oh p.s make sure you go heavy on the liner!
    you are so pretty!!!!!!!!!

How do I apply make up for a discoloration?

I have a few small spots of hypopigmentation on some of my toes after a surgery for hammertoes. I'm african american and now I have yellow colored skin on the stitches marks instead of my black skin color. I don't wear any make up so I need help. I've done to 4 dermatologists and theres no cure for loss pigmentation.

I'm gonna try MAC, but how do I apply it so its last all day when I wear sandals. Do I use the concealer first, then foundation or what. How can I make it so it doesnt smear off and looks natural in natural light. Also will I have to use it on all my toes so they look the same? Thank you.How do I apply make up for a discoloration?

    How do You Apply Make-up?

I'm 16, and I don't know how to apply make-up, and I don't really know anything about it. I'd like to wear make-up, but my mom won't buy me any. I have sensitive skin, and if I do use make-up I probably won't use eyeliner or mascara because I don't like things by my eyes.

How do you apply make-up? and what are some good brands for sensitive skin and not expensive? How do You Apply Make-up?
If you don't like to wear mascara or eyeliner all there really is left of makeup is concealer and foundation and thats not hard at all. I'm 13 and I wear eyeliner and mascara and its really not that hard. I wear foundation/concealer on speacial occasions like school pictures and thats not hard putting on either haha. How do You Apply Make-up?
It depends on what kind of make-up you're looking to apply. Whatever you're wanting to know how to apply, search it on youtube, there are some very good tutorials. When you have eyeliner or mascara on you really cant tell, its not like having a sticker near your eye or something. You might want to look into making your own make up. Its pretty easy to make. Search Wikihow :]

    Hope this helps%26lt;3
Its not that hard, just brush on the blush lightly; for smudging, use your fingers or tissues.

Eyeliner is EASY PEASY! You'll like it. It makes your eyes stand out. Just follow the line of lashes with the liner.

Mascara can get a little tricky, if you aren't patient. Just dip the mascara a little from the tube. Then, slowly brush it onto your lashes. Then, don't blink for like 5 seconds and let it dry. WALAH!
stick on some false eyelashes, they work wonders, and then put on a little liquid eye liner (it is difficult, but you get better i swear!) on the top eye lids to cover where you stuck your lashes

How would you apply make up to look like this?

eye liner and mascara should do. (eye liner on the inside though, dont poke your eye!)How would you apply make up to look like this?
line the INNER lower lid with black eyeliner.. from the outer corner of the eye all the way to the inner corner. line the top lid (very carefully to get as straight a line as possible) with the same black eyeliner.. again, all the way from the outer to inner corner. it's pretty simple.. you just have to have a steady hand and remember.. less is more. ;o)
black eyeliner all the way around your eye :)

How can you apply make up in less then 10 minutes?

Well I'm a stressful 8th grader and its hard for me to wake up early in the morning and apply make up. I've been wanting to wear some, just a little, and still be able to be on time at school. On top of that I'm not really the Straight A kind of student and its annoying cause I build up a lot of stress which causes my face to get a lot of acne. Its hard to find make up that will make my face look Natural. I'm asian and its hard to put on eyeliner. So i was thinking about applying a little bit of face makeup, neutral colored eyeshadow, and curl my eyelashes. What do you think? How can you apply make up in less then 10 minutes?
You should try Carmindy's 5 minute face. This is the book:

    http://search.barnesandnoble.com/5-Minut鈥?/a>

And you can see Carmindy doing her 5 minute face here on you tube:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPVwKsYAm鈥?/a>

I hope that helps! She is really great at make up.How can you apply make up in less then 10 minutes?
I think that your neutral eyeshadow and curling your eyelashes is a good idea. When you buy foundation, ';face make-up,'; make sure to get water-based foundation instead of oil based. The oil based foundation will only make your acne look worse. Make sure to remember not to put too much make-up on; in 8th grade, less is more. The point of make-up is to enhance your natural beauty. If you only do those 3 steps that you mentioned, you will definitely be able to put it on in 10 minutes. Plus-practice makes perfect. Good luck with this and have fun!
I'm an 8th grader also! This is what I use, and it looks very natural:

I get compliments on my makeup.

I keep it natural, this is what I normally use:

    http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/de鈥?/a>

It takes me 10mins or less.

Hope this helps! Message me if you'd like to know anything else.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peZtZloHQ鈥?/a>

this is the BEST video and im sure you'll get alot out of it! so simple and I know you said you find it hard to apply eyeliner but she shows you a really easy technique.

If 10 mins is too long here is a FIVE minute makeup routine lol!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EA4nO1Vpa鈥?/a>
Practice. I put on foundation, mascara, eyeliner, blush, lip stick and lip gloss in the morning. That only takes me about 10 minutes, but I've been doing it for a while. It just takes practice, and you'll be able to do your amount of makeup in less than 5 minutes.

    Hope that helps!
yeah im in seventh i wear everything basically .

i wear concealer, foundation, pressed powder, bronzer somtimes, blush, eye shadow, eyeliner ,mascara,

but i dont look cakey im a freaj about loooking cakey i hate it

    good luck
That sounds good. Just keep it natural for school.

You'll get really good at it as you get older, I've been applying it since your age (17 now) ... and now I can do it in 10 mins no problem. Im so used to doing it every morning
Liquid concealer (just shell out $30 or so and buy a few different kinds to see which is best for you) for the acne, mascara for the lashes, subtle lip gloss for the lips. Boom. Done. Curl lashes if you want; that only takes a minute.
I had no idea it took that long

but you're in 8th grade anyway, you're prettier without it

    trust me

    but....whatever
You don't need make-up in the 8th grade. There, problem solved.
I think that make up isn't generally necessary in the 8th grade, but if you want a little something, then you should do just some concealer* to hide those ugly pimples (puberty sucks), VERY LIGHT, yet still flattering eyeliner, blush to add dimension to the face, and invest in a great lip gloss.

I'm only a couple years older than you, and I find that as you get older, your makeup routine tends to be more... complicated. I do the foundation, concealer, eyeliner, a sweep of neutral eyeshadow, blush, lip gloss/stick if I feel like it, and mascara, if I have the time.

    * Concealer should be set with a powder. If you choose to wear foundation with the concealer, please use it wisely. You don't want to look so unnaturally cakey. Sure, your acne will be less visible, but is it worth it to have 10 lbs. of make up on your face that it can't breathe?

How do i apply make up.. when my eye lids are different?

ok so youve herd of different sizes.. well..

    my lids are different folds...

my left lid has 1 fold and my right lid has a double fold.

its ALWAYS been like this. it looks funny sometimes when applying eye liner to the top..

is there a way to make them both the same lid fold? or.. maybe a way to disguise it? orr just a way so my eyes dont look like i applied different make up on each eye..

sorry if i sound crazy.. haha thanks if you could help though. How do i apply make up.. when my eye lids are different?
Everyone's eyes are slightly different and some peoples are very different so it is a common problem. There is not a way to make them even without surgery but lots of ways to minimize the look with makeup.

Try a smoky eye, it doesn't have to be dark and dramatic ... just start with a dark line along your lash line and have it go lighter as it goes up. Some of my fave colors for a smoky are brown, green or lilac ...

Use a bold shadow over your crease, it will draw attention up and away from the folds. Make sure you blend it out.

Use a light frosty color in a champagne - I love Stila's Kitten or MAC's Shroom and put it almost up to your browbone, it will distract with the sparkles.

HTH!How do i apply make up.. when my eye lids are different?
i think a picture would help.
I dont know if i can help you but I can try..

I have very prominent eyes, where the lids are much more visable than most people; many people have eyes where the lids are almost against the brow bone and there is only a small area to apply shadow, liner, etc and these people look best with liner on the top. For me, applying liner on the top looks silly cuz its so noticable, it looks like there is too much space in between the shadowed lid and the line which is over my lash line. So I only apply liner to the bottom lash line. I also use dark colors that compliment by Brown eyes, and possibly make my eyes look smaller. I use gray, brown, dark red, purple, and blue mixtures. I rarely use pink or pastell/light colors as it calls too much attention to the fact that I have differnt eyes. i also like to curve the ends of my lashes so that the ends fan out, sorta like cat eyes. I think my eyes look good, very sexy.

Its probably hard to follow instruactions on here but Sephoria actually sells eye make up kits for special effects, like cat eyes, smoky eyes look, etc. And they also do demonstrations. Most department stores like Macy's will do these as well and its free. You just walk up to the counter of the brand you like and ask if you could try some make up on/have a demonstration or you can call and explain your situation.. I did this for my hs senior pics many years ago and some of their tips are really good. Also you can search the net for video demonstrations; I know they have ones for hair where you upload your own pic and ';try on'; hair styles and there are makeover sites, so I imagine you can find one for makeup. Ivillage was one that I looked at for hair, but sorry I dont know of others.

    Hope some of that helped.
    loose some weight?

    kiddnig, i have no clue.
No one else really notices the difference that you see. Close is good enough. No one is perfect and imperfections make you who you are.

  • How can I apply make up to hide herpes genital sores from my girlfriend?

Ok so I have herpes. Yes, it is very embarrassing but what is more embarrasing is coming to you all and asking for make up tips on how to hide my genital sores. So anyway, they are pretty big (the size of a dime) and my woman won't boink me if I have them on my penis. So, I was wondering how do I use make up to hide the sores. Do I need to buy a specific brand, use foundation what? If you need more descriptions on the sores I can tell you more. How can I apply make up to hide herpes genital sores from my girlfriend?
How about being honest and telling her the truth? How can I apply make up to hide herpes genital sores from my girlfriend?
hahaha i see your account got deleted and thats what you get you sick sick little man
dont do that then she will get it and then she will hate you trust me!!
I have a sneaky feeling that you may be not telling us the truth, Mr Hansen, tut tut.

Just because this is a make up section in beauty and style, it doesn't indicate we don't possess a brain between us young man!

May I ask, how did you 'catch them' initially? I assume that you 'caught' them off somebody who had to turn the lights off before she 'boinked' you in the first place?
just tell her you idiot, why would you want to spred that. OMG you are so gross if she really liked you she would acept you, but if you really liked her you would tell her, why spred it to her you pig. Beside make up wont help the liyer inside you.
if my boyfriend tried to trick me into having sex, by neglecting to mention the fact that he has herpes, the sores on his genitals would be the least of his problems. make sure to disclose your herpes status to any potential partner, before kissing or intercourse.
uhm you need to be upfront about that sorta thing with her. first of all if you were my boyfriend, i wouldnt want you wearing makeup [ew] and second id want you to tell me if you do. geeze.
OMFG!!!!!!! I CANT BELIEVE THIS! UR NOT GOING 2 TELL HER UR GONNA HIDE IT FROM HER?? WOW, I BET SHE TRUST U A WHOLEEEEE LOT 2 do anything a man who would hide huge problems?
What a horrible question. I hope you are a troll, for the sake of women everywhere. Makeup won't hide anything, and why on earth would you want to spread herpes to your girl? GROSS, and shame on you.
I hope your not serious, you shouldn't hide that from here or anyone else for that matter.....
AFTER SETTING YOUR GF DOWN AND BEING UP FRONT WITH HER...IF SHE'S STILL SITTING THERE AND WANTING TO BE A WILLING PARTICIPANT THEN........GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR CORNER DRUG STORE AND PURCHASE CONDOMS.....PRACTICE SAFE SEX!!!!.....

    DON'T TAKE US FOR FOOLS!!!!!!
make up in genitals cause infection...

thats the cause of having sex without protection dude
You can't use makeup to hide diseases. Hopefully, it will make it worse and she will find out before you infect her you sick selfish pervert!!!
Ok wouldn't this put her at risk of getting genital sores? Don't even think about trying to hide them so she doesn't know
R U insane? Does you GF Know you have Herpes?
That's wrong. You shouldn't hide them from her. That's an unhealthy relationship if you arnt going to be completely honest with her about everything. Genital Herpes isn't something to be messing around with, it's serious business. Do you want her to contract your disease? That's rude, you're a jerk and you obviously don't care about her or you wouldn't hide things from her and you wouldnt want to run the risk of her catching it either.
    jerk.

How should i apply make up to my face?

    Okay, here the deal (=.

I wear black eyeliner and black mascara what can i do to change up my look but nothing to out there that i can do everyday for school and not look like a clown (hahahhaha) thanks. and im only 13 i dont want to look 13 going on to 25. just something natural and pretty to make my eyes pop and just make my skin flawless, possibly covering up my freckles but i mean if it uses A LOT of make up no thanks.

p.s do you think i am pretty lol, just wondering i was kinding caught in the moment hahhahahaHow should i apply make up to my face?
wow i love your hair in that picture! what mascara and eyeliner are you wearing?? ok so here's a natural pretty look that doesn't use a lot of makeup and doesn't take a long time. IT MAY LOOK LIKE THIS USES A LOT OF PRODUCTS BUT IT REALLY DOESNT! this look probably takes about 5-6 minutes to complete

first apply revlon colorstay blemish concealer on the places you need it. then, you can apply foundation, but it's not totally neccesary or anything. if you do decide to use foundation, i'd try bare minerals spf 15 or maybelline dream matte mousse foundation. after that, apply covergirl cheekers blush in classic pink, natural rose, or rose silk. curl your lashes with a eye lash curler. apply either a black or brown eyeliner to your upper and lower lids, and smudge it if you want to. take the covergirl eye enhancers 4-kit shadows in sheerly nudes and take any of those colors and dust it on your lid, up to the crease. (basically, use a gold or light brown color) after that, take a shimmery pink eye shadow and dust it into the inner corners of your eyes. it sounds weird, but it will really open up your eyes and make them pop. apply a mascara. i like revlon 3d extreme, maybelline full n' soft, and covergirl lash blast. lastly, apply a little lip gloss. How should i apply make up to my face?
    Hey.

Well i think you are pretty you have a very fresh face. I think you should try a green eyeshadow, possibly darker rather than lighter. I would also go for a bronzing powder rather than blusher just on cheeks and slightly on your chin for a sunkissed glow. I would also swap the black eyeliner and mascara for brown as this will softer, for a slightly more intense lok you could try charcoal. And then go for a sheer gloss.

Good luck and explore the net.

    :)
sweety, your beautiful as it is.

but makeup wise, you never want to wear to much.remember less= is more. Put concealer on your cheeks, nose, forehead ,chin and blend(make shure it's not too much)go w/ a light pink blush and try light BROWN eyeliner and mascara.and maybe pick a very neutral eyeshadow to blend the eyeliner with. your very young though so i'm shure you have a beautiful face and skin! good luck!
ok i think tht you should wear a light eyeshadow tht makes ur eyes pop out a little bit. and maybe a little lip gloss wouldnt hurt either. o and dont wear too much mascara or eyeliner or it will probabaly make ur face seem too dark and not how u want to look. i think u look pretty without makeup but ur face would pop out more with it. good luck and i hope this helped!=D
Just wear a little bit of whatever seems fun. You can decide what you like better than anyone else.

Yeah you are pretty in that picture.
try some shade of green on your eyes and maybe some powder and blush (lightly because of your natural beauty)
Put a light color for eyeshadow and some foundation and lipgloss
i would say some pink blush and lip glos ,

    and maybe a brownish eyeshadow??

dont cover up your freckles there beautiful %26lt;3
    You look gorgeous, hun!

Maybe just some blush and lipgloss? No eyeshadow, yet.

    Whoa Whoa Whoa!

First off, stop with the black eyeliner and black mascara!!

In my opinion no one should wear black eyeliner.

From your picture you have beautiful eyes and skin

These features are being brought out by dark makeup and it only makes your skin look pale.

Here's my opinion for your eyes

Toss out your black eyeliner... it's too dark for you

Pick up a chocolate brown eyeliner pencil and black/brown mascara.

Stay away from liquid eyeliner, unless you are going to a special event or party (the color should still be brown)

Line your top lid starting from the outside and working inwards , this line should be light, don't cake it on.

Next, line your lower lashes starting from the outside and working in stopping in the middle of your lower lid, again the line should be light

Apply Mascara to only your top lashes, NOT YOUR BOTTOM

You are not supposed to put mascara on them

Since you are 13, I don't know how many of your friends wear shadow, but if they do you could wear a light pink shimmer with a cream base or just a tan colored shadow

    Now for your skin,

You have flawless skin with nice freckles, why try to cover them up?

If you do feel like doing it, I would pick up a concealer matched to your skin tone, never go darker than the color of your skin. And apply this with a makeup sponge, never use your fingers. Also pick up a pressed powder foundation and apply it all over your face with a powder brush. Top it all off with a light pink blush something neutral. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks, the bottom of your chin, the tip of your nose and the temples of your forehead.

REMEMBER!! When you are finished applying makeup it should look like you don't have any on at all. Just natural.

Also make sure your getting quality makeup, I love clinque! I've been using their products since I was your age and I'm 19 now.

Have fun and keep it simple
    Thats a very cute picture:))

I think using some light collored eye-shaddow would look good on you. They say purple eye-shaddow makes brown eyes pop. But, be carefull and dont use a lot, it can easy make it look to much. Also, since you have such big nice eyes, black eyeliner fits you great!

If you ask me, i think your skin is really nice as it is, but if you do want to cover your freckles use mineral foundation. Do not use to much, but just to cover a little bit up.

By hanging upside-down. Makes your face smoother and easier to work with. Just takes some time getting used to.
    lightly
just make sure you go soft and natural
    apply a thin coat.
I am a makeup artist and this is one of my many questions, I love to help, I never get tired of answering, so here you go.

Applying makeup is actually easier than you think. Of course, with lots of practice you will be able to do it without even thinking about it.

    Here are the application steps:

    Foundation

    Concealer

    Powder

    Blush

    Eyeshadow

    Eyeliner

    Mascara

    Lipliner

    Lipstick

    Let's go through them individually.

    Foundation

Apply foundation over your entire face and don't forget to go over your eyelids, under your eyes and your lips. This will make for perfect even skin tone.

    Concealer

Some people actually prefer to conceal before applying foundation but I find that sometimes your foundation may actually do the concealing for you and therefore allow you to skip this step. If however you do need to conceal, roll the concealer on to the area with your sponge or blot it on with your brush. You don't want to wipe it on like you did your foundation because then you'll actually take the foundation off.

    Powder

All you need here is a very good dusting of powder. Remember to go over every area that you've applied foundation.

    Blush

Applying blush before any other colours actually helps you to control the amount of cosmetics that you will be putting on. Some days, you may require less cosmetics than others and applying blush now, will help you to regulate that. Keep in mind that when applying blush, you should not go past the center of your eye and not lower than the tip of your nose. No racing stripes either please! Just blend in a circular motion and you'll be alright.

    Eyeshadow

Depending on the look you are going for the application of eyeshadow will also vary. Typically, you will need three colours. The first colour should be a little lighter than your skin tone, the second should be a colour to complement your eye and hair colour and the third colour will be the lightest colour; preferably a pink or a white with a little shimmer in it. The first colour is also known as your lid colour. Apply that over the entire eye lid going as close to your lashes as possible and bringing the colour right up to under your eyebrows. The second colour is your crease colour and that will go into the hollow of your eye. Don't forget to blend here too because you don't want to see a clear defined line. Now, if you're an Asian beauty, you can apply this colour onto your eyelid from your lash line up to about the middle of your eyelid. The last colour is known as a highlighter and that colour goes just under your eyebrow.

    Eyeliner

I prefer to apply eyeliner only to the top of the lash line. Start at the inner corner of your eye and draw a thin line out to the outside corner of your eye. Applying eyeliner just to the top makes for a bigger, brighter eye. If you must have eyeliner beneath your lower lashes, keep it very thin, start from the outside corner of your eye and bring it in only to the outside of your iris. Going all the way across can cause shadows and make you look like you haven't slept in days. Mind you, for an evening look, going all the way across is okay. Why? Because in the evening you will most often be surrounded by soft lighting which will illuminate the skin under your eyes.

    Mascara

Apply mascara in a sawing motion; back and forth. This will ensure that you coat all sides of your lashes. Apply just a little bit to your lower lashes. You want just enough to take off any excess powder that may be sitting there.

    Lipliner

Line your lips and colour them in. This helps to keep your lipstick on. Be careful with your cupid's bow; you don't want them pointy. Round is in.

    Lipstick

Apply your lipstick with a lip brush and I promise you that your lipstick will last you twice as long. Blot off with a tissue by pressing the tissue to your lips. If you press down on the tissue by smacking your lips together, you can actually change the shape of your lips. Now apply more lipstick. For extra lipstick insurance, try not to press or rub your lips together and don't lick them either!

    Voila! You're all done!

    Hope that helped.
Well, it depends upon the kind of makeup you're trying to apply.

FOUNDATION: Apply with a foundation brush, available from most brands. This will give you the same coverage out of 30% less foundation, and allow you to blend more evenly. Start with the ';T-zone'; and work out to the hair line, applying the thinnest coat nearest to the hairline. Usually, we need the most coverage in the center of our faces.

CONCEALER: Concealer should be applied before your powder, after your foundation. Using a concealer brush is best. Load the tip of your flat concealer brush with concealer. Then, using a tapping motion, cover the area you want to conceal with pigment. Then, using the flat side of your brush, pat the concealed area, blending the concealer into your foundation, but leaving maximum coverage over the affected area.

POWDER FOUNDATION: Apply with a sponge, wet or dry. I like it better dry, because it gives softer coverage.

POWDER: Loose powder should be applied with a puff and pressed powder with a big fluffy powder brush, after your foundation. Bonus tip: if you let your foundation set for about one minute before applying powder, it will last longer.

EYESHADOW: Apply with brushes, never with sponges. The rule of thumb is this: the shorter and more densely packed the bristles, the darker the eyeshadow color. Meaning, bigger fluffier brushes should be used to apply your highlight or blend other shadows together. Medium sized, angled or rounded brushes are for use in the crease, and ultra-compact, really dense brushes are for contouring or eyeliner. Try applying a light, shimmery color all over the lid, from lashline to brow. Then apply a medium brown to the crease. Then, using your smallest eyeshadow brush, apply a deep brown into the exterior corner of the eye. Use a big fluffy brush to blend.

Blush: Using a domed natural bristled brush, apply to the apples of the cheeks in concentric circles, making the circles larger with each pass.

Bronzer: Apply with a big fluffy blush along the hairline on the forehead, on the nose, across the cheeks, and a bit on the chin.

Eyeliner: This specific to eye shape, but it really goes on how you think best. Something to stay away from is rimming your entire eye in black. It's what I call ';beginner makeup'; and doesn't look very sophisticated unless done with an extremely light touch. Try lining your eye with dark brown liner on top and bottom from the exterior corner to just over the pupil instead. Much less obvious.

Lip liner, stick, and gloss: These are pretty self-explanatory.

Mascara: Apply mascara, using a twisting or winding motion to the top side of the upper lashes. You essentially grip the lashes with the mascara brush at the base, and then using a twisting motion (like winding a watch), roll the brush out to the ends of the lashes. Then apply mascara as usual to the bottom side of the top lashes. Last, using the end of your mascara wand, tip the bottom lashes to provide color and dimension without coating them heavily.
With the hands. Apply on the face for best results.
With a little spounge, and only apply a little bit.
    make up your mind!
If you want the best results from your make up, then you should ensure that you take your time over the application and don't rush.

Too many people work on the next layer before for instance the foundation has set or the moisturiser has dried in. But then make up can run or just slide off.

Therefore with any wet product allow ten minutes for the moisture to be absorbed before working on the next layer.
Use a foam makeup wedge and apply foundation SPARINGLY. No need to frost your face like a cake! Apply the makeup under the eyes and then spread it to the the sides of your face, following the contours of your cheek bones. Use just a little on your forehead and the rest of your t-zone since it is more prone to oiliness. Make sure that you blend the makeup into your jaw line so you don't see an obvious distinction between the natural coloring of your neck and your makeup!!! That's why it's a good idea to get a foundation as close to your natural skin tone as possible! For eyes, use a little mascara to draw out the eye color, but don't go hog-wild with it! Avoid black eye liner because that just ruins the eyes, in my opinion!!! Try to stick to lighter brown eye liner, if any, and only lightly line the outside corner of the eye to the bottom center. Use an eye shadow that is close in color to the eyelid. For lips, apply chapstick first, then a natural color lipstick.

    Hope this helps!!!

When I apply my make up in the bathroom it looks great....?

but when i go outside they color is either too dark or too light so what can i do???change the light bulb?? if so what kind and how many Watts? When I apply my make up in the bathroom it looks great....?
    Ugh I hate that!!!!

Okay so the best light is ALWAYS natural light.

I don't know when you get up to do your make up...but my advice would be to open a window (if you have one in your bathroom) or go to a room that has a window and use the sunlight to apply your make up. It will look much more even...it's amazing what sunlight does to help with this.

And the nifty thing about this...after a few times of doing your make up in the sun, you learn just how much you need so for those times that you don't have the sun to use, you know how much to put on.

When there's no sun or you just don't have the ability to use sunlight...try using as much light at possible. For example...if the kitchen has better lighting...do your make up in the kitchen.

Good luck! When I apply my make up in the bathroom it looks great....?
Do your makeup by a window so you can see how it looks in natural light.

However, if this is not possible, then buy a makeup mirror and use the brightest light setting to put your makeup on since that will most closely mimick the sunlight.
yes that's How I an but we have a demer on our light and i always greeat really with it demed and I look different whe I go outside I guess I have to stop doing that but in my room It's a different liughteing so I just go back and fourht and check that way
Try applying your make-up in a different room, such as your bedroom. Since it is just the lighting in your bathroom, you could try experimenting by changing the light bulbs, and seeing which one works the best! Hope this helps!
you have to do your make-up in natural light - get those bright white bulbs if bathroom is the only place you can do it. I used to put my make-up on in the bathroom but then moved to the bedroom - much better! :)
I have the exact same problem..........I would try to open a window...curtains/blinds and do your makeup by that too along with the light.....it helps a little lol I know how shocking it can be when you look outside in a mirror......lol
You need to get a makeup me so you and have the magnaficaiton on you and the light settings can be changed for your best intrest work on you eyes first then the foundation on the face.
i would get a makeup mirror that has a fluorescent bulb in it that's what i use. and it works great out side cause in every building in the world they use florescent bulbs lol.......
Grr, I have the same problem ):

    How to apply natural make-up?

what kind of make-up products can you use to apply natural make-up?? and how do you apply those products to make it look super natural??How to apply natural make-up?
    bare escentuals/minerals foundation, concealer

tru blend by cover girl for blush--just find ure shade

mascara (fantastic lash covergirl) and nude lipgloss (any brand)

use brown or taupe (covergirl 1 kit eyeenhancer in tapestry taupe) shades of eyeshadow if u want to use shadowHow to apply natural make-up?
Make sure your concealer is yellow in tone since it mutes imperfections without adding color, giving your skin a natural look.Apply foundation that matches your skin tone. The right foundation will seem to disappear on your face. If you are African-American, it's a good idea to have light, medium and dark shades of your foundation to allow for different gradations of color on different parts of your face.Apply eye makeup in earthy tones'beige, brown, gold or plum for shadows and brown and charcoal gray for liner and mascara. Skip liner or shadow entirely if you want to keep makeup light. Choose a blush color that is close to the color of your cheeks after you've exercised.

    use earthy tones. :)
When I want to look natural, I use Bare Minerals powder foundation (well, I use that all the time), Bene Tint by Benefit on my lips and cheeks, and then curl my eyelashes and put on black mascara. Finish with Burt's Bees chapstick and I'm done!

It's a great way to look pretty and natural, and it only takes 5 minutes to do.

  • How to apply make up which looks shiny , moisty and natural yet fair than naturally you are?

    Hi,

Nice question, even i used to crave for that, but all of us know make is temporary, use oily base u get pimples, use water base-it goes off due to sweat.Still i wud suggest u something that celebs follow.

Firstly, you can feel lucky if are not a person who does not sweat much. Then make up stays ......you can see actresses touching up often right.

So find a foundation thats slightly lighter in colour than your skin complexion, oily base will give u a smooth oily look, but a BIG NO if u get pimples, then just finish it with bronzing powder that gives u a shiny look just like JLO who just swears by those tanned look giving products.......

use bronzing powder to higlight your plus points to get sharp features and look naturally glowing, like cheek bones

How to apply make up to eyes?

Hi, I'm 14 and tomorrow is the first day of school and I want to look pretty and nice. My parents don't want me to ';cake'; up my face with a bunch of make up but my mom allows me to put some on my eyes. This is embarrassing how I don't know how to apply make up but I need to learn how to apply eyeliner and eyeshadow. I want my eyes to pop out or be bold. So how do I apply eyeliner and eyeshadow? And can people just apply the eyeshadow on the eyelid instead of the eyelid AND outside of it? Thank you. And I'm asian so if there's any technique for our eyes, that's be great. Thanks :)How to apply make up to eyes?

stick to neutral colors: beige or tan on your lid, medium brown in the crease and white or light beige on your brow bone and inner tear duct.

When you line your eyes, only line about two thirds of the way in from the outer corner to the inner corner, making it thicker on the outer corner and thinner on the inner corner. Get as close to your eyelashes as possible to avoid getting the racoon eye effect. Try this video. How to apply make up to eyes?
At your age I was super clueless to but my rents didn't care so I caked on make-up and learned from my mistakes.

One of the best things to do is to go to youtube and type in make-up tips or tutorials, do the same on google. That's how I started to improve, some make-up online shops even have make-up tips and videos, all it does is take a search on youtube and google.

Michelle Phan is one of my favorite people that does tutorials on youtube and she's asian as well. Take a look, you'll be a pro in no time.

use a shadow that is the same color or lighter than your skin tone and just apply it to the lid. (use a brush then blow on it then sweep across the lid). Then use a brown liner (it goes with every eye color) and but i thin line right across your lash line (on top) then smudge it with your finger so it doesn't look like you're wearing a lot. Then on the bottom but it half way across your eye -from the outer corner to the level of your pupil. Then use a brown-black mascara-two coats to the top and one to the bottom- (if you ';wiggle'; the wand at the roots of your eyelashes, it will give more depth.

as far as being asian, if you want to define the crease take a shade darker than the color on your lid and ';line'; the crease. that will give it more definition.

    Good Luck!!

How to apply make-up for ghost costume??

Hey guys! Need a bit of help! I want to try and make a pretty realistic looking ghost costume for halloween. I have the clothes and all, but Im having trouble with the make-up... I need to try making a white face, but not super bright white like with actual face paint... I tried baby powder but it just wont hold, it just fades into the skin... Anyone got other ideas??? I dont want to go buy anything, so homemade is prefered. I also want to make my face look a lil bit dirty and bruised... I got make-up for the bruising effect, but how can I make my face look slightly dirty mixed in with white as the main background of the face??? Thanks a LOADS! (btw, would need to also hold on arms and not just face)

hope to get lots of answers ^^

For this particular look, it may be easiest to go out and buy a Halloween makeup kit. That'll include quite a bit of white or grayish-white cream base, and you'll need that for all or most of your visible skin. If that won't work for you, try theatre makeup companies like Ben Nye to get your hands on exactly what you need.

Most regular drugstore and department store cosmetics lines won't have exactly the right white shade available (as all naturally fair-skinned girls have probably discovered over and over again in their search for the perfect shade).

    [edit]Face

Once you have your face makeup picked out, apply that to your whole face and neck (if visible). The rest of your Halloween ghost makeup is in the details. Sponges work better than fingers or foundation brushes for this type of application.

Skip the rouge completely. Even if you're a ghost bride, you won't be blushing at all. If you feel like you want to sculp your face for a harsher look, you can use a matte gray shadow and swipe it under your cheekbones, on the sides of your nose, around your jaw line, and near your hairline. This is basically the same technique used to warm your face up with bronzer, but you're cooling it off to look ghastly instead.

    [edit]Eyes

Since ghosts stay up all night walking the halls and rattling chains, and facial and eye creams won't work on them; they're bound to have dark circles under their eyes. You can use two shades of gray here, a navy blue and gray, or gray and black. It's up to you.

Using an eye shadow brush (the application doesn't have to be too precise, so any fluffy brush should do), put the darker color under your eye in the inner corner. Blend that out and down. On the outer corner, add the lighter color and blend in (to meet the dark color) and down.

If you want to add dimension to your eyes, use a black liner along the upper and lower lash lines. Unless you just want to be the sexy ghost on the block with cat eye liner, try to make the line thicker in the middle of the lid to give a more rounded appearance to the eye.

    [edit]Lips

Black, blue, deep burgundy鈥攁ny of those lip colors will do. You could even opt for a nude lip color like MAC Myth and tone it down and cool it off further with a blue-tinged gloss or lipstick on top. If all else fails and you really want your lips to disappear, use a very light concealer.

Want lips that appear cracked? Use a concealer with a dry consistency. Or a matte lipstick in a nude shade. If you don't apply chapstick or exfoliate lips first, they tend to give the look of a dry, chapped mouth without any special effects skills needed

use a primer it makes the colors look darker and it makes the color last longer and stops them from smearing, along with that you could also get your eyeshadow brush wet and apply the makeup wet. but i would definitely get a primer. i have some from urban decay and it works really well. put foundation on your eyes, they cover them with powder, then apply eye shadow. same thing happens to me, throughout the course of the day, my eye shadow always comes off.my cousin tuahgt me this trick, comes in handy!

    hope this helped girly:D

    Lindzz
Using some type of primer helps but you can also slightly dampen your brush before you apply your shadows and you should get more color out of them that way.
put on heavy mascrea%26amp;try a dark eyeshadow
    OK,

First put on some foundation. I like MAC liquid foundation.

Next apply MAC Paint in BASE LIGHT with your finger (this product comes is a tube and once you try it, you'll live for this stuff).

Anyway, this will help to amplify your eyeshadow color right away and it will help it stay on for a long time.

TIP:Don't let the MAC paint dry out , you sorta have apply your eyeshadow right on top of it fast.

also, don't forget your mascara (2 coats if you are going out at night).

Put on some blush with shimmer and you're done.

Try these eyeshadows from MAC. you'll be sure to stand out.

    AMBER LIGHTS: gold (so nice!)

DEEP TRUTH: deep navy with shimmer

    HUMID: deep green with shimmer

    ELECTRA: silver

CARBON: black eyeshadow to line your eyes.

    COPPERING: shimmery burned orange color.

The tools you're looking for are the Airbrush and Area Selection tools.

Use the Airbrush to cover up blemishes and imperfections.

With the Area Selection tool, select the area you wish to change the color of (ie; her eye shadow), and go to Color -%26gt; Hue/Saturation.

Should be pretty easy from there.

    Good luck.

  • How to apply make-up? Im almost 13?

Hi guys! I was wondering what age did you start wearing make up, and if im going to wear it, how should I apply it. My Dad doesnt like it, but he is okay with it, and my Mom said I just need to apply it right. Now, I dont want foundation, lip liner, cright red lip stick, ext. I want it to look very natural, a tinted mouisteriser, clear mascara, lipgloss, AND MAYBE eye liner, (but probably not.) I just want my face to look neater, and I have hereditary dark circles under my eyes, so how can I get rid of those?? I want to look nicer, but is this too much? Im pretty sure I will wear it no matter what, but I dont want to look like im trying to look older or anything..How to apply make-up? Im almost 13?
The tinted moisturizer needs to be applied first and you use your ring finger and spread it out towards your ears and forehead. Mascara is really easy to apply after you get used to having a brush that close to your eyeball. Put the brush at the base of your lashes and move it back and forth as you move it up your lash. This helps separate your lashes. lipgloss is easy, just stay in your natural lip line. Eye liner is a little tricky, if you have dark circles, don't use it. but you stretch your eyelid out so you have slanty eyes and gently pencil it on. If you decide to use liner, get a pencil. The liquid stuff is harder to get and the pencil wipes off if you make a little goober. The eyeliner needs to be close to your eyelash or mascara color. Using black mascara instead of clear will have the same effect as liner. The best thing for dark circles is foundation, sorry. I have them from being a teenager, I use a really light foundation, even lighter than my skin, and just dab a little on.

If you stick with natural colors and don't use shadow, you'll look like a 13 year old kid. I didn't start using make-up until I was 14, but I have great skin, so I didn't need it. You may want to practice with the mascara, clumps are NOT good looking, they won't make your face look neater. Just avoid bright colors and wear a sunscreen and you will be fine.

Less is better. To get rid of your dark circle use a conclear that is lighter than your skin tone. To get rid of shiney skin get a translucent compressed powder. Mascara doesnt have to be clear...wear brown or black. Use a soft color on your cheeks and a sheer lip gloss that has a hint of color. You should be good to go.
ok why do u need to be wearing makeup at such a younge age., i find it ridiculous how girls are wearing it at the age ot 13. even if u think u need it, u shoudnt be wearing it because when u get older, it'll start breaking out more, and u apply more and more and then u have no face.
I need some help too because I turn 13 august 1st! I think my sister started at about 13. She went to this make up place and they showed her how to do it. It was pretty cool I think that is what I am going to do! I would do exactly what ur plan is I mean what kind of make up u r going to wear. Good luck! : )
When I was that age, I applied lipgloss, bit of eyeliner, eyeshadow (sometimes and not to dramatic), try dream matte mousse in foundation for your circles. It's light and great to use.
