I am in desperate need of a facial moisturizer to make my foundation and concealer look less dry and cakey.
I plan on buying it today, in a few hours, so please leave an answer with what moisturizer you use, your skin condition, and pros and cons.
Thanks!
Easy 10 points for one with most description of the product.Which facial moisturizer do you use, before applying your make up?
I use a great dermatologists tested moisturizer called Neutrogena SPF 15 Oil-Free Moisture. I usually get the small travel sized bottles for a dollar because I'm usually in a hurry and my mom rushes me to hurry up.
I use oil-free because I am a teenager and we don't want oily skin. xD I put a small pea sized amount on my finger and rub it in on my cheek, then another pea sized amount for different areas like my other cheek, nose, chin, and forehead.
I use a makeup called Everyday Minerals so it is in powder foundation form. It doesn't take much and I just spread it over my face with a big kabuki brush. I blend in the powder so it doesn't look chalky and the moisturizer keeps in totally set in place.
My makeup stays in place all say, only needing to freshen up once during lunch which is really good if I apply the first layer at 6:00 in the morning.
Pros:
Moisture stays all day
Affordable
Trusted brand name
SPF 15 sun protection
Cons:
It is sort of watery so it runs a little bit when you put it on your finger so just give the bottle a little shake before use.
All in all, it's a great product. And your makeup won't get dry and cakey. I promise. :)
EDIT: It is white, but colorless when you put it on. It doesn't have a smell once it is on. ^^Which facial moisturizer do you use, before applying your make up?
I use Covergirls CG Smoothers SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer. It's a really good product It evens out your skin tone, moisturizes your skin, and it works as a sun protectant. I loooooove it.

I have dry skin, and it makes my face look so nice and soft.
And what you do is apply your concealer onto your blemishes/imperfections, then use a large brush to coat the Moisturizer onto your face. Then do whatever else you need to do.
BTW, this is a concealer I really recommend:

For dry skin.
The clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion with Pump or the one in the gel form is really good. Its good for oily skin (which I have) and also for really dry patches all over the face. It really moisturizes. The other one I use is the clean and clear oil free duel action moisturizer. But if you don't have acne then I would definitely go with clinique. Hope this helps and good luck!
i just use johnson %26amp; johnson 24 hour moisture for adults. its cheap and it really works wonders. i only like department store make up it seems to stay on all day,be good for my face, and work wonders! if you apply foundation with a foundation brush or blush brush it will make it look more natural. these are things i live by and use every day. i notice a HUGE difference with this foundation more than any other. if the brush prices are too much, they have a brush set for like 45 bucks, that is the way to go definatly! good luck : 鈾?make up
i dont use like a moisturizer for makeup. but i do use clean and clear facial moisturizer before i put on my makeup. it keeps your skin soft and prevents and treats acne !
I have tried the pricey department store moisturizers and I haven't found anything I like better than Olay Complete (Antioxidant Vitamin E plus C
SPF 15 100% Oil Free) And best of all only $6 bucks.
