Agreed. The closest thing I've ever done was put on some chapstick when my lips are dry and that's done at a red light only! I don't need to take my eyes off of the road, I'm stopped, and I have at least one hand on the wheel. If the light turns green the chapstick is put down in one of the cup-holders in the center console.





It drives me nuts to see women apply makeup while driving- especially on the highway! My life and the life of anyone else is not worth being put at risk for some woman who can't get out of bed in time to get ready in her own home.





The same can be said for men who shave and drive or read and drive. Can you believe that? I see it quite a bit. Who in their right mind reads and drives? I'm especially nervous when I see men rifling through briefcases for papers...all the while the car is in motion.





While we're on the subject- what about people who yap on the cellphone while they drive? Even some people get so distracted with using headsets. It's a gamble everyday, especially where I live. You've got people driving huge SUVs or Hummers with one hand while they yap on the cellphone in the other hand. First of all they have a hard time driving the things with one hand and second of all they are so distracted by their stinking phone conversation that they aren't paying attention to their driving...

The only time I put make up on in the car is when I'm in the passenger seat and someone else is driving. I can put it on in the car OK but I'm sure I could do better at home. I never put make up on in the car when I'm driving. Stupidity that is.





Ladies, save the mess on your face and a mess on the road, do it at home.
I totally agree and for a woman here who likes her makeup to look good, I have no idea how they do it, must just be minimal and nothing special to be able to put it on in a car! ewness


I get up a 5am so I can do a 1hr 45min commute and I do mine at home! so they can too!
I can honestly say I've never driven and attempted to do my make up at the same time. If I'm riding shotgun (rarely) then I might if I've slept in too long, but even then it looks a mess and I end up re-doing it at work. If I've left it too late then I just wait until I get into work, I don't care if my colleagues see me without make up!

2. what if you smudge or do it wrong and don't have a tissue in hand?????


3. the roads can be REALLY bumpy!!!!


4. what if you look a mess and you've got a important meeting or something next!!!
I'm a lady %26amp; I totally agree with you. I see ladies putting on makeup in the car while they are driving way too much. It drives me nuts and they wonder why they're so many fender benders out there..... I also like the multi-taskers, who smoke %26amp; hold their cell phone up to their ears while they're driving too!
id never do that. even if i was in a rush.

Yea but most of them, I say them but I do don't wear make up and when I do its ';2 second make up';. Most of them are in a hurry. I'm sure that they choose to do it in the car because it's sexy..lol
About a month ago I was behind a woman who seemed to be plucking her eyebrows at every stop. Yikes. Difficult to explain to the ER docs why you have a tweezer lodged in your eyeball.

I don't wear much make up or drive yet, but people applying make up in their car is really not a smart idea.
