At my age it is best if I use one of those trowels that have the spikey things on them to get it on really thick and then go back over it with the smoothe edge. Then powder and then repeat.Do you apply make-up sparingly or put it on with a trowel?
I'm pretty sparing -- most of the time I don't remember to put any on. -- I've taken the spackle knife away from my daughter a few times.

lmao I don't wear makeup because I'm African American and it's hard to find something that compliments my skin tone. So I just go natural always wearing some sort of lip balm but their my best weapon!! =D
I hardly ever wear make up anymore. But, when I do, I put very little on. Most people don't even know I wear any.
