How do I apply my lip make-up - when knowing i'll be kissing?

I read somewhere it's good to apply lip liner all over the lips before applying your gloss/lipstick and all. As it has more staying power from wiping off when kissing?

I recommend lipstick as lipgloss will be all sticky. You can get special lipsticks that last through kissing and eating and everything. Try Rimmel 1000 Kisses Stay on Lipstick which comes in a load of colours. BUT before applying that follow these steps...


- Dab lips with a tissue to get any moisture off them.


- Apply your foundation and/or powder to your lips (sounds wierd but works!)


- Line your lips with lipliner


- Apply your kiss-lasting lipstick


- Apply some chap-stick. It helps secure the lipstick in place

If you're not wearing lipstick, you won't have to worry about it being wiped off. Then again, it depends on who's kissing you. If you're hiding behind your mask to impress this person, you'll need to wear lipstick, whether it wipes off or not. If it's someone you can be honest with, you won't need lipstick or any other make-up; and the kiss will be real, not fake.

Think about the person you will be kissing, best thing to do is to get some lipsmackers or similar. My boyfriend hates the lipstick look on him and can't stand to have the lip gloss ';slide'; lol...... However i get the flavored scented variety, this gives him the yummy taste of your lips (choose his favorite and experiment), he'll love it and want to keep kissing you. Well what I would do is put the lip stick on first and then lip gloss because the lip gloss has no color but it makes your lips look shiny! The lip stick will dry and so will the lip gloss but if you are going to be kissing anyone wait about 20 or 30 mins after you put your lip gloss/lip stick on just to make sure it is dry and it doesnt wipe off. Just be informed that the lip gloss might come off a little bit on your parteners lips.
