Whats the best way to apply your make up?

my make up doesn't really stay on so well.


and it feels fake, like theres too much on my face.


but looks like theres nothing on ther at all.

you should go to a store with assistants in cosmology wher ethey can show you what type of makeup to buy and how to apply it (they'll even do a small make-over if they are nice enough)Whats the best way to apply your make up?
You need to apply a base to your whole makeup look, when creating a look you should start by putting on a ';WHITE'; base to help the colors pop, this should be a shadow magnet or a eye stick-Benefit, Barry M, mac etc. (not eyeliner, almost Jumbo eye liner), these are called primers, you can get them in most good cosmetics stores. Then apply your eye shadow don't put your foundation on before your eyeshadows or you'll get fall out sticking to your cheeks. I then apply foundation which is usually a creamy texture not mousse as this is too soft. No7, mac, benefit etc. After foundation I do my lips and then I am done...





Just to recap here is order:-





1. wash and moisturize face


2. apply concealer


3. apply primer to eyelids


4. apply eyeshadow eyeliner etc. and FIRST coat of mascara


5. (do this whilst waiting for mascara to dry) apply foundation


6. apply blusher/ bronzer


7. apply lipstick/lip paint/lipgloss


8. apply second coat of mascara


9. DONE!
Use a Moisturizer to prep your Skin for Makeup


Use a Sheer Foundation like Stila illuminating Foundation


A other unexpensive Foundation is Neutrogena Glow Sheers Foudation


these Two Foundations aren't heavy they give a Sheer Coverage





Wear some Blush , and Mascara Try Covergirl LashBlast Its Awsome


And if you want you csn use Eyeliner


Then to Finish LipGloss.
If the makeup you are using isn't working you can try a different brand. Shop around a bit. Try using makeup brushes instead of the (eyeshadow) sponges. Look around the internet for videos about applying makeup, there are a lot of good ones.
Best way aply a primer under your make up .But you should ask before to buy a right one foe your skin type:)
