How to apply make up?

I'm confused... on the order u apply make up


i always hear the words... bronzer, primer but wut do they do?





usually.. i cleanse my face, tone it, put on a moisturizer, put on a lil concealer... liquid foundation... mascara, and blushh.





where do the primer and bronzer come in?

Okay this is usually what professionals do:





Cleanser


Toner


Moisturizer


Primer


Concealer


Foundation


Bronzer


Blush


Setting Powder (like mineral veil from bare escentuals to make sure everything stays on throughout the day)





then if you're doing your eyes you do:


shadow base (which goes on your whole eyelid and is usually sheer)


eyeshadow


eye liner


mascara





but remember you can put as little or as much make-up as you need if for example you don't feel you need a bronzer, then don't use it! the greatest thing about make-up is that it's basically art and art has no rules. (but a few helpful tips make art better.)How to apply make up?
bronzer is a tan colored product that is darker than ur natural skin tone. it will give u a tanned or sun kissed look...kind of like u have been in the sun and got a slight tan, u apply it all over ur face where the sun would naturally hit, like the apples of ur cheeks ur forehead, nose and chin...a primer is a barrier that helps with application and makes it smoother looking in appearance, minimizing the appearance of pores and if u have oily skin there is a mattifying primer out there that will help keep u from getting shiny as fast...u should really use some spf 15 and up in ur moisturizer though...it will help ur skin in appearance as well as help protect ur skin from harmful Uv rays that can eventually lead to skin cancer after prolonged exposure...there are 3 types of primers, one is for the face, for foundation and blush and bronzer, another one is an eyelid primer for eyeshaddow and liner, that can be applied n e time before applying eyeshaddow or liner. the last one is lash primer, that will bump up ur lashes in volume and length. u apply it before mascara.


in case ur wondering, matte is no shine, like a plain piece of colored construction paper.


primer comes before makeup application in where ever area ur putting the makeup on...bronzer is where u would use a blush and can replace blush if u dont want a flushed cheek look.
Wow that's a big one... go to Youtube and check out Tyra Banks... there's a couple of videos there where she did a makeup show... they're pretty good. Perhaps worth you watching...





P.S. usually primer first, bronzer or blush last... rarely both - depending on the look you're after.

primer preps your skin for your foundation and bronzer comes last .. its like blush but more subtle and all over face color for a natural glow or healthy sun kissed look (depends on how much you apply) I love bronzer .. Sephora - Bare Essentials Faux tan is my favorite !
primer comes after the moisturizer and the bronzer before the blush, for me anyways
