I find that it's best to never, ever remove makeup. That way, each day when you fix yourself up, you are adding another layer to the shell that used to be your face. Surely, with enough years worth of layers, you will still have several left after swimming.SERIOUS QUESTION HERE!!!! how can i ensure my carefully applied make up stays on when swimming?

Try hair spray. I know it's good for stopping a run in panty hose, it just might hold the make up in place long enough for a swim, who knows?
I have thought of tatooing your make up on? They have some great tatoo artist that can make you make up permanent.

Ohmigawsh makeup crisis! Oh no! You can buy a nifty waterproof eyeliner but I don't know it might not match your skin tone...oh dear what a problem.

Try waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Also, try Revlon Colorstay foundation, lipstick and blushes. There are other brands that provide staying makeup, but majority of them clog pores and make oily skin even oilier.
try the water proof ones use a tinted moistureizer it stays on in the water just make sure you give it plenty of time to dry be careful alot of them will make you look orange TOMA tanning product at sally beauty can help they dont look fake just use a little at a time also wear waterproff mascarea kinda hard to remove but will stay on in water know is the time to go to the stores like jcpenny and try free samples to find one that is best plus its free have a pair of shades on hand can cover up a lot and looks great sunscreen is the best also helps makeup stay on sometimes having it tatooed on works but not for me just make sure the person doing is liscensed i have seen some people they do look great with tattoed makeup plus it saves time in the morning

well they make a mask for ugly women. just slip it on and you can swim freely. i think they are available at sea world.
girl a real lady doesn't dare get in the water don't you know that you are just supposed to lay on one of those floating things drinking tall drinks with umbrellas brought to you by hot Latin boys in spedos? if you must get in the water you never go above your neck silly not only would you ruin your make up (haven't found a good waterproofing one yet did try shellacking that's a whole other question though) but think of what chlorine does to you hair!!!!!!!!!! take my advice and you will be the hottest thing at the pool/beach this year
don't put make up on until you've finished swimmin'.you look worse if your make up runs down yer face because it's wet!

Use Lancome foundation, they make a waterproof one, tient idole, something like that. Also, definitely use waterproof mascara, Lancome also makes a good one. Many of my friends have the permanent eyelash extensions which seem to hold up well in the water, we are in Florida.
