how do i apply eyeliner to the top lashes and when i use mascara how do i not get it all over my face? and how do i know what is too much or what is not enough? How do i apply eye make up?
Start with the eyeliner... I used a liquid liner (Loreal) because I feel like it's easier to control and I can get closer to the lash line. I start at the midpoint of my upper lash line and make one slow stroke to the outside corner of my eye. Then I go from the inside corner back to the midpoint. I feel like doing it slowly in two strokes (instead of all at once) makes it easier and less sloppy. Just go above the lashes, but as close as you can... if your arm is shaky, try leaning your elbow again the edge of the counter or sink.
Then do the mascara. I start with an eyelash curler from Sephora. I clamp it on my upper lashes and hold it for 10 seconds. It makes a huuuuuge difference! Then I put on the actual mascara (Diorshow is really good). Just keep your eyes wide open and approach your lashes slowly, and move the wand up through them... if you go slowly, it won't get on your face.
I like to wear a lot of eye makeup, so I keep the rest of my face neutral so it's not too much. If you decide to go heavy on the liner %26amp; mascara, balance it out by skipping lipstick or using a clear gloss. You could also ask one of your friends, or a sister if you have one, for their opinion on whether or not it's too much.
Good luck, it will get easier every time you do it!!How do i apply eye make up?
Find an honest friend (to know when its TOO much) or go to a make up counter in a department store and have them apply the eyeliner on you. Also try youtube videos. It's all trial and error and keep Q-tips handy for clean up :)
