How do u apply eye make-up?

I want to know how to apply eye make up like the picture in the link.How do u apply eye make-up?
first of all u apply a base colour then take ur lightest colour and apply it rite up to ur eyebrow not too dark then get ur main colour and put in on following ur brow bone if u want a darker colour on the corners apply it from the middle of ur eyelid out to corners and blend it in to give that smokey look
