How do you apply make-up?

Everytime I use make-up it just looks a mess, where am I going wrongHow do you apply make-up?
it depends what kind of look u are going for .. when i go out .. I apply concealer to make sure my skin looks flawless .. but before that i put some moisturiser on my face to smoothe the concealer/ foundation out .. and then i apply black pencil eyeliner (kohl).. .. all you need is a good concealer which goes with your skin tone and a good eyeliner which u think looks good on you (there are different kinds of colours to choose from.)

If you wanna give a natural look .. after applying concealer you can apply some light blush-on .. a natural rosey colour .. and clear mascara .. when make up is applied its all about emphasising ur features .. and making sure you are covering up any dark circles or zits that you wanna hide.. and until u feel comfartable with how ur face looks .. thats the kind of make up you shud put on =) .. never over do ur make up or try to hard or else it gives a clown look ! .. If you do heavy eye make up .. keep the blush-on very light and try going for a nude or clear lipgloss .. and if your eye makeup is hardly anything .. go for a darker shade of lipgloss ..How do you apply make-up?

you might be putting on too much or you might not be putting it on right.
If you just forget the make-up and feel happy with yourself, you'll probably be prettier anyways!
not to seem snidey, but some people just look bad with make up on, if you really need to put it on, go and see a beauty advisor, you normally find them in department stores. :)
