Steps:

Matte (nonglossy) lipsticks are less likely to run than glossy or shiny ones.

If you are in sales..you need to keep it very light and natural. I really love Balance and Brighten from Laura Gellar...(qvc.com) and just put on mascara and a little gloss. That should be enough.
