How to apply make-up in high school?

I'm 14 and going into high school next year and I've decided that I should wear make-up, because I think it will make me look prettier and more feminine. I was wondering if anybody has seen a make-up tutorial on how to apply light make-up for teenage girls going into high school or can give me advice on make-up. Here are some pictures of me if that helps:

Side Question:

In the second picture I know I have really ugly bags under my eyes. That's because of being on 3 different softball teams and waking up at 4 in the morning for softball tournaments. Does anybody know any tricks or have any tips on how to prevent this?How to apply make-up in high school?
Light foundation, mascara and a little eyelinerHow to apply make-up in high school?
Do it with toilet paper.
Okay, so I'm 14 as well! I'm also going to be a highschooler next year as well! I've been wearing makeup since I was like, 12. I must say though that I am quite good at applying it! :)

You should:

a) you need to always wear moisturizer,

b) wear concealer (like a mineral kind [Bare Escentiuals]),

c) wear mascara! This is like a freaking must!

d) I suggest that you don't apply your eyeliner to heavily and it should either be a dark dark brown or black,

e) if you want to wear eyeshadow, stick to neutral colors! A good fun color for you though is purple.

When you are applying your makeup, use a light hand. It is always easier to add more then to subtract!

Their are a TON of makeup videos on YouTube. I suggest looking at either petrilude OR xsparkage -they are both GREAT makeup artists!

Okay, ha, wow! I hoped that helps you! Like, I seriously do, because writing this wasted like 10 minutes of my life! Haha! But is was fun for me because I'm super bored right now (it is like, 11:07 at night and I don't feel like going to bed-wow, this is probably a little too much information, but oh well!)!

Oh!

P.S You can try putting cotton balls dipped in cold milk on the bags or the whites of eggs!

```~Dom :D
wow ok your pretty as it is but maybe add some eyeliner and mascara to your eyes and maybe some lip gloss not a color kind just clear..
and a really really light pink blush on your cheek bones..
and for the bags under your eyes maybe and some cover up on it but the color of your skin and try to get more sleep..
i hope i could help..
and have fun in high school!!!
ok i will tell you the most important thing my mom told me when i started to wear make up in high school(she used to be a make up artist! she still does my make up for all the school dances!) ok here it goes... LESS IS BEST! ok know almost all the girls in my high school do their make up the wrong way! they do it dark and they apply it wrong to! now for eye make up there are 4places you can put stuff.
1# Lashes = mascara easy to put on. i recommend experimenting with it be for you put it on daily, there is a certain trick to it.
2#Above lases or lash line= here you can apply eyeliner, now eyeliner looks great! BUT it is really power full once you know how to use it properly you can do some really fun looks with it! for a beginner would just practice getting a THIN line right at you lash line, it is ok if it comes out thick just make sure you are using a light color. oh and when you apply it you want to hold the corner of your eye back and aways start at the part closest to your nose.
3# Lid= The lid is the easiest ( i think) this part you can just apply a solid color to, or for a little bit of fun you can blend colors in this area, but that is better to do with step 4#
4# Crease / Brow bone= hear you want to blend a lightter color into whatever color you choose on the bottom. Now make sure you dont change the color buy blending it to much. you just want to blend it at the top of were the 2 colors meet.
Now there is soooooo much to explain in make up, but i hope i gave you some good advice! Oh if you want you can go to stores that sell make up and they will do it for you! that is a good way to learn! good luck and have fun applying!!!
You're really pretty, honestly you don't really need much at all.
What I'd suggest is just a blush on your cheekbones (bronzer would look good too)
and a coat of mascara.
The key is keeping it natural. Or as natural as possible. You have really pretty eyes and should play them up. Try using just brown eyeliner. Don't line the whole eye though, stop 3/4 at the bottom. And then finish with a couple coats of brown mascara. You definitely do not need blush or lipstick. But if you want, you can wear lip gloss.
For a more ';wow'; look, use a liner that is bright such as blue. But if you do use this, only line the upper lid.
For your dark circles, use cover up. Maybelline makes the best cover up and they have a highlighting/cover up duo that really helps. Dot under your eyes with the coverup and blend with your fingers. Set the makeup with a dusting of translucent powder. And the only way you can actually prevent this is to get more sleep or reduce the stress in your life.
For more make up tips, I like Allthatglitters21 makeup tutorials on youtube. She knows how to keep it looking natural and not overdone.
Hope I helped! C:
Youtube has a lot of great tutorials, for the bags under you're eyes, its best to just sleep eight hours a day and have a healthy diet. Go to sleep earlier if you have to wake up early.
There is a rumor that if you hold something cold under your eyes, such as ice cubes, they help, but I think that's just a myth.
Make up advise for tonight. Any good websites that can show me how to apply make up on?
I am make up stupid! I have a wedding to go to tonight and the girl that always does my make up isn't available tonight to do it for me. Are there any good websites that will walk me thru applying make up on and helping me determine what looks good on me? I have an oval face, my eyes are small and brown and very close to my NOT so think and curvy eyebrows. I want to make the eyes stand out to make them look classy but sexy at once. I have thick lips and the dress that I am wearing is eggplant color. HELP ME PLEASE! What color make up would complement the dress. My skin tone is light and not so tanned, I'd say fair. I have light brown hair with blond highlights. The dress is eggplant color.
Thank you in advance.Make up advise for tonight. Any good websites that can show me how to apply make up on?
I have got some pimples on my face and during a dance program i applied make up now its got worse...any cure??
raw unpastuerized apple cider vinegar will do it..
the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht鈥?/a>
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a ';very bad complexion';. She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
Cheryl writes, ';My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months.
put some in a spray bottle, after you shower, spray on acne areas..
you can get it at the health food store, or in some super marktet health food sections. i use bragg vinegar..
good luckI have got some pimples on my face and during a dance program i applied make up now its got worse...any cure??
Topical medications are very helpful, e.g. benzoyl peroxide, more commonly known as Clearasil is available over the counter. You can also see your dermatologist about getting a prescription for Retin-A.
In the mean time, keeping your face clean--but not overly clean--is the best thing you can do for yourself.
One thing to consider: is it acne that you developed from the make-up, or could it be an allergic reaction? I can't tell without examining your skin, but you ought to consider the possibility.
    How you apply your eyeshadow is dependent on the shape of your eyes. Do you have standard eyes,Hooded eyes, Deep-set eyes (etc.)? Visit www.marykay.com/mrose2005 and do a virtual makeover. If this does not help, then click ';contact me'; to request actual (free) make up with step by step application directions. Hope that helps! :-)
    Its hard to explain to someone how to apply their makeup......my suggestion would be to go to the mall, and any of the higher end stores will do a mini makeup session for you. They will show you how to apply it and suggest colors and tones for your skin. It's free and although they will try to get you to buy the products, you dont have to.
    Another suggestion is to let a dealer like Mary Kay or an Avon lady come to your house and do a show.....you will get the free makeup session and she will get sales from the people you invite.
    Good Luck !!!!!
    I do not know where you live but in USA you can learn few tricks from where you buy the make up, they have samples and the clinics.
    This is true of Eye Shadows also. Worth requesting them to show you, before purchase.
    Is it ok to apply mederma on top of make up ?
    Im using mederma to fade acne scars. The directions say that you have to apply it 3-4 times a day, which means I would have to put it on during the day when I wear make up. Would it still work?Is it ok to apply mederma on top of make up ?
    Just take a q-tip and remove the makeup in the affected area. Then put the Mederma on. It shouldn't look much different if you don't wear makeup like a street walker. And if you do, it may be time for an update :)
    I don't think it will work very well over makeup.Is it ok to apply mederma on top of make up ?
    your skin will absorb the mederma along with the dirt and makeup already on your face...you should try not to put makeup over that spot so that only mederma will be absorbed by your skin.
    i use it but i put it on before i put on my makeup cuz it probly won't work it you do
    put it b4 make up as a make-up base so that its in direct contact with ur skin for it to effective
    if u apply on top of make up it will not ouch ur skin directly and it will spoil ur make up
    I am in a play and have acne. What is the best way to apply and remove the stage make-up I am required to use
    What products remove it entirely. Last night after removing it with glycerin soap, my face felt sunburned and was red. I have 9 more plays to do. Thanks so much for taking your time to answer.I am in a play and have acne. What is the best way to apply and remove the stage make-up I am required to use
    For starters, I wouldn't use glycerin soap. That's not kind to the skin.
    Get something like Clearskin from the drugstore. They have products designed specifically for skin with acne. Secondly, make sure you use a moisturizer. If you overdry your skin, your acne could actually get worse.
    Complete removal also depends upon the base used in the makeup. Some makeup, particuarly eye makeup, requires eye makeup remover.
    And a lot of women over the years have just gone with good old cold cream. Gentle to the skin and gets just about any type of makeup off.I am in a play and have acne. What is the best way to apply and remove the stage make-up I am required to use
    Best thing I've ever tried after using so many high end cosmetics is (Dickinson's witch hazel products). The witch hazel is used for many skin conditions and is not harsh or irritating on the skin. It's worth a try for the money ($2.99 - $5.99). For eye makeup I always use Mary Kay eye makeup remover. No other eye makeup remover has worked for my waterproof mascaras so far.
    My answer would be use natural products like tea tree soap or fash wash (can be brought from most drug stores preferably the thursday plantation brand) and acne and blemishes dry out and are gone within time.Your skin will be red but results are tremendous!
    Use cold creme or other facial creme for removal of stage makeup. It's gentle on the skin and helps get it off without scrubbing. There are more professional things to use but it doesn't look like you have time to order anything to do it right. After getting the bulk of the makeup off you can then cleanse with a mild soap. Be sure to moisturize afterward and do not use and form of exfoliate until the production is over. Your skin is going through enough right now without added irritation. Also beware of harsh cleansers with allot of alcohol.
